Google Developer Student Clubs at the University of
Georgia is a campus organization led by UGA students
and supported by Google Developers. Our mission is
to empower students in a peer-to-peer learning
environment to develop personally and professionally
while fostering positive, scalable social change in our
local community and around the world.
34. What that means…
Over the course of the semester, we hope to host
various crash courses, workshops/projects, guest
speakers, and social events. Essentially, we hope to
build a community. One where you can find belonging,
but also one where you can grow and learn as a
student developer.
35. How we differ..
Both GDG Athens and GDSC are great clubs to be
apart of! While GDG works with the Athens
community as a whole, GDSC is a little more
centralized to students here at UGA. Our focus is to
build a smaller, more close knit community of
developers within our university.
The good news is you can be apart of both ;)

- A subset of ML where models are
inspired by the structure of the brain
called neural networks that can learn
and make intelligent decisions on
their own
- Uses algorithms to parse data, learn
from that data, and make informed
