2. WHYREGISTER
CONTROL?
When printing an image that has more than one color,
it is necessary to print each color separately and ensure
each color overlaps the others precisely. If this is not
done, the finished image will look fuzzy, blurred or out
of register and the copy become waste. Registration is
affected due to lateral and circumferential movement
of paper while high speed travelling which can be
controlled by lateral and circum motors for each color.

8. How much time we save on adjust
and register all colors?
During the startup, it take longer time to adjust and register all
colors properly and it depends on the press condition and operator
skills. By the time operator corrects manually, hundreds of copies
go waste. He has to give a correction based on his experience and
then wait to observe the improvements and again give corrections
to fine tune it. Such trial and error method is time consuming and
error prone. However with our auto registration system in place,
the moment impression is on , color is detected in camera and we
start send the corrections concurrently to all motors making it very
fast and perfect registration of all colors without any humen
intervension.We calculate the total variation for all colors and send
single command to ensure instant corrections there by significant
improvement in correction time.

9. How muchsavingsofwastagepossible?
Due to longer make-ready time with manual corrections,
initial wastage may go typically from 300 to 800 copies on a
new job and wastage during auto pasting can be
approximately 50-100 copies. Again all these depends on
machine condition and operator skills. After putting auto
registration we could bring down the wastage more than half
on every cases.The lowest we got is 6o to 80 copies in startup
and almost Nil wastage during auto pasting. Hence you can
save a minimum of 50% of your current wastage.We can
provide machine specific optimizations to get the best result
out of your machine!
