6. The ASLX platform
Using the SL14 as a platform
the third layer of the SL14 has
been manipulated and
modified allowing the
technician to install on top of
the SL14 platform multiple
layers. That top layer being
etched by way of a chemical
process allowing the mounting
adhesive that normally
adheres to glass now to
embed into the P.E.T. of the
original platform of the SL14
The term SL14 is being used as a term of art however we are not
using the actual SL14 as the SL14 is a standalone product.

client. For example in one
country in the Middle East
for some of their vehicles,
three layers of the ASLX30
will resist a 38 calibre
bullet, whereas in Central

have discovered that it
takes five layers to do the
same thing.
