The WFP Innovation Accelerator was opened in Munich, Germany in August 2015 to further nurture the innovative culture of WFP colleagues while collaborating with external experts from diverse sectors and institutions. Linking the operations of WFP with the latest technologies and trends, will support the goal of WFP to end hunger.

1. The UN World Food Programme (WFP) is fighting hunger worldwide,
delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with
communities to improve nutrition and build resilience for around 80
million people in 80+ countries (learn more www.wfp.org).
The WFP Innovation Accelerator has been created to identify and
accelerate innovations that help WFP fulfil its mandate in eradicating
hunger worldwide (learn more www.wfp.org/innovation).
We cover global innovations for zero hunger—our office is located in
the center of Munich, Germany.
Our office accommodates staff and innovation project teams in a
creative and collaborative atmosphere.
We utilize networks in non-profits, private sector, academia and
institutions, it is an ideal environment to accelerate innovation.

centered design and lean start-up bootcamps for
user centric, quick and bold innovations.

3 to 6 months (funding and active team support).
