Rashed Al-Haque has extensive experience in academic services including peer reviewing for journals on higher education and international education, reviewing conference submissions, and reviewing education program applications. He has also guest lectured and spoken on topics related to higher education internationalization, policy analysis, and navigating a PhD program. Additionally, he has organized and facilitated workshops on self-care, mental health, and academic life at international education conferences as well as for education students. Rashed is a member of the Researching International and Contemporary Education research group at Western University's Faculty of Education.
