Introduction
• The senior public relations and marketing director for the
fashion boutique chain Brunello Cucunelli USA, Giorgiana
Magnolfi drives corporate communication strategies in both
public relations and sales. Giorgiana Magnolfi’s experience
has provided her an opportunity to engage a number of
charities, including the Henry Street Settlement (HSS) in New
York City.
Established in 1893, the HSS provides social service, health
care and arts programs to the Lower East Side community
and to New Yorkers of all ages. For the younger children, the
charity offers programs in music, theater, dance and visual
arts through the Abrons Arts Center. In 2014, the center
hosted 58 different productions attracting audiences totaling
over 30,000.
Henry Street Settlement
• Employment, job training and educational
programs are available to teens through
initiatives like the Young Adult Internship
Program. In 2015, the HSS introduced CASA
(The Center for Active and Successful Aging) for
seniors. Families can find support with housing
and safe refuge. HSS offers many other
programs to assist the community.
