The Oregon Territory
by Brenda, Olivia, Shari
About Oregon
Adventurous people from America felt the
right to see what was down in the Western.
They wanted to create houses, farms, and
towns.
In early years, a barrier shielded the West.
Big hard hills blocked the West. The
highest mountains -- that is. Some were
even 14,000 feet high! It formed the
continental divide, which makes the rivers
into 2 parts going East + West.
