Government of India plans to develop Multi-modal High Axle Load Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) between Delhi and Mumbai, covering an overall length of 1483km, with end terminals at Tughlakabad and Dadri in the National Capital Region of Delhi and Jawaharlal Nehru Port at Mumbai.
Government of India has further proposed establishing, promoting and facilitating “Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) along the alignment of DFC between Delhi and Mumbai. The objective of DMIC, supported by world-class infrastructure, would be to optimize on the present potential, enhance investment climate and promote the economic development of the region through creation of a long term enabling environment.
An MOU relating to the DMIC has been signed between the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) of India to explore the opportunities for mutual cooperation. MoCI has further initiated the process by appointing M/s IL&FS Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (IIDC), New Delhi as Consultant for preparation of conceptual framework for DMIC.

Why Pune Metro project has become a matter of great concern is because despite serious issues, DMRC’s Pune Metro DPR was blindly approved by Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) without any independent study, transparency and public consultations. Subsequently PMC has also approved a proposal to grant 4 FSI in the Metro influence zone of 500 mtr on either side of Metro corridor. It is necessary that Citizens should have information about the Metro and 4 FSI plans so that they can form own opinion regarding whether they would want these plans to be implemented.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

When Navi Mumbai was developed in 1972, no one imagined, even in their wildest

satellite townships but also links areas like Magadi, Kanakapura, Attibele, Dobspet, Anekal,
Sarjapura, Ramanagaram, Hoskote, Devanahalli and Doddaballapur. Total stretch of BMR-
STRR will be around 283 kms. Real estate buzz in this area Hoskote is already known for the
presence of many Auto mobile & warehouse industries and already many real

Whereas in case of Neo Bangalore (Hoskote), the government of Karnataka has revealed great

electronics hardware and IT at Bagur. Hoskote is Logistics Hub in Bangalore and many world

other Japanese automotives factories operating in this SEZ and many more big industrial
heavyweights are said to be getting their new address here. Apple Inc is setting up plant here
to export iPhone models and different Apple products to rest of the world. About 468
Japanese companies have set up shop along the Bangalore-Chennai belt and Hoskote is the
starting point of this corridor.

The 6-lane Super EXPRESS -HIGHWAY to Chennai Port starts at Hoskote. It is being
developed all the way to Sri Perambudur and that would reduce the travelling time between
the two cities considerably. Locally, Hoskote has good connection to important parts of
Bangalore. It is a quick drive from the Bangalore International Airport, Byappanahalli Metro
Station and the K.R. Puram Railway Station. Budigere road connects Hoskote to the BIAL in 30
minutes. The railway station is 20 minutes away. CM has promised extending Metro train to
till Hoskote Toll gate area . Time taken to reach the Central Business District is shortened by
taking the metro from Byappanahalli which will reach M.G. Road within 25 minutes without
