can see and touch.

perform particular tasks.
• Some computer programs exist the computers use.

4. Mainframe
• A mainframe is a large expensive computer capable of processing
data for hundreds or thousands of users.
• It is usually placed in a big closet because of how big it is.

5. Workstation
• A powerful desktop computer designed for specialized tasks.
• It can do tasks a lot faster that require a lot of processing.
• It can also be a ordinary computer attached to a LAN.

6. Computer Engineering
• Computer engineers may have to make parts for their customers.
• Some times the engineers have to stay late or come in on the
weekends.

7. Types of engineering
• There are two types of engineering. There is computer hardware
engineering and there is computer software engineering.
• Computer hardware engineering is students plan and design the
components of a computer and enable them to integrated with
other mobiles.
• Computer software engineering deals with the complete process
of software development.

• Computer engineers have to know all about computers and they
