Executive Summary (Unit 9)
(This portion of your mini-business plan should contain a brief overview of everything in your
plan. This brief overview should contain an explanation of your product/service line, the market
you will serve, and a brief summary of your financial goals. This should be completed in Unit 9.)
Business Description (Unit 2)
• Here at Voyager Enterprise you will experience a spiritual awakening with a variety of
items our store offers. There is Celestial books an assortment to choose from to awaken your
senses to the possibilities that await you. A professional palm reader will be offered to those
who would like some insight as to who they are and who they might become along with Tara
card readings for those who want a more in-depth foreseeing of their future. Classes specializing
in the study of Wicca, its origins as well as beginning and advanced magical arts including
spiritual advancement will be held in one of our many classrooms. We have a total of six
classrooms and ten different classes will be offered on selected days and times by one of our
trained professionals. Here is a list of the classes we offer and their times: Monday- Wednesday
from 3pm-5pm there are six classes: Wiccan origins, spiritual awakenings, Tara reading made
easy, meditation, beginning spells, and advanced spells. Thursday 3pm-5pm: spiritual
advancement, and magical beginnings. Fridays 3pm-5pm are magical awareness and advanced
magic. The classes run a six week course and we supply all the materials needed for a low cost
of $250.00 which can be paid up front or divided into three low payments of $83.30.
• The customers will have access to our first time ever herb gardens in our indoor
greenhouse containing a wide variety of herbs such as sage, angelica root, mugwort, rosemary,
blessed thistle and much more.
• These items will include PAGAN, WICCAN, BUDDHISM, HINDUISM, and ISLAM.
No caps.
• The reason Christianity or Judaism are not included is there too many stores focusing on
these religions already. Even though this may be the case I still might touch on them so not to
leave them out. Since you are not including, you probably don’t need to include in your
description. However, if you want to be comprehensive, you should include all religions.
• Products for resale include candles, herbs, crystals, cloths, books, and other religious
items needed to complete religious rites.
• Wiccan fairs will have all different kinds of fun things to do as well as learn.
• We shell find a store large enough to be able to handle not just our customers but our
products as well.
• Will also be trying to get any other Wiccan store small in size to join our family.
Vision Statement (Unit 2)
Voyager enterprises will be a great success because there has not been any religious stores like
this in our area and I have great anticipation for all the items we will be selling that most
consumers have to buy online we will carry in-store. Ceremonial robes, wands, faery dust,
instructional books will be provided for each item along with free cleansing and reenergizing of
all items that you will buy or have bought and would like them to come alive again. My passion
is only that I can share my love for magic with the world and show people the beauty that lies
behind the magical arts. You will bring your inner soul alive again and live once more through
the eyes you were meant to see.
Mission Statement (Unit 2)
Voyager Enterprise’s mission is to teach and enrich the surrounding community with our
products to improve understanding about other religions around the world. We want to show the
people of our fine community that Wicca and other religions are in fact similar to that of
Christianity
Personal Motivation (Unit 2)
I want to open this store, because I feel that there is an injustice around us. Take a look around
all you really see is Christian or even Jews items in stores. Take Wal-Mart look at the glass case
you will not see any Wiccan or any other religion items their so how is this fair I think not. So I
will open a store that will try to give a voice to them that is not heard.
Description of Products or Services (Unit 3)
When it comes to filing in the gap in the marketplace I would be the first to say that this gap is so
large that we will have to grow big for the people around us. This is because of the religious
injustice, so why not use this injustice to make some money as well as teach those around us,
because religion is good business. Now I know there is a Wiccan store as well as a Christian
store within the 10-15 miles away. The Christian store is large were the Wiccan is small; this is
because it is a corner store. This is why I would have this Wiccan store join my family. It is
better to have them join me than fight me.
Our next step will be to have fresh herbs of many different kinds ones that you are able to
eat as well as ones that are only used in rites. I do this because there is some that are either really
hard to find or hard to grow. This is something that the other store doesn’t have that we will.
Here is a list of a few of the herbs that we will be trying to grow in our great house.
• Angelica Root
• Blessed Thistle
• Calendula Flower
• Damiana
• Hyssop
• Juniper Berries
• Lavender Flowers
• Mullein Leaf
• Mugwort
• Patchouli
• Red Cedar
• Red Rose
Most of our in-store items we will be ordering from this main supplier and here is their
information:
(http://www.themagickalcat.com/default.asp) (First established in 2002, The Magickal Cat is a
family owned & operated online store located in Massachusetts). The Magickal Cat

Franklin, MA 02038-4007
E-Mail: customerservice@themagickalcat.com
Fax: 1-877-805-1428
Other items that we will be selling will be books. These books will range from spells, teaching,
even different type of bibles which include the many different faiths.
When it comes to gems there are so many out there that are low cost as well as some that are
hard to get I am not going to list them because some of them will be as they come basses.
Now when it comes to the cloths we will be selling cloths that you will be able to ware every day
as well as cloths that you would only ware during a rite.
The first part of growth is starting with the people that we will employ we will need
stockers, cashiers, teachers, as well as people that know a thing or two about plants. We will also
be setting up a website so people are able to see what we have in stock before they come in and
find we are out or don’t carry it.
If we don’t carry something we will order it for you and try to get it to you as fast as
possible.
The teachers will be there to teach people about Wicca as well as start a coven which
everyone is able to join if they so wish. I would have to say that I would hire someone from a
local coven to come down and teach as well as do so readings. If we are unable to find someone
local we will look to have someone come in to teach from a temple.
Also our workers don’t have to be Wiccan to work at our store because we are a store of many
different faiths.
It is easier to grow with faith and understanding of those around us.
Marketing Plan: Market Analysis (Unit 4)
The place that I live, has a rich history of the working man. You can see it by just taking a walk
around town. The first building you will see is an old IBM building which is now run by a
different company, because of what happened so many years ago. The other building you will
see is an old shoe factory that used to run before it got too costly to try to outpace china. The sad
but true story about this town is the fact that it is dying. My focus will be on the everyday man
woman and child; this is because they need something to believe in. So when it comes to faith
this is something that most of the people only have left. By starting a store in a place that is
dying I have faith that it would give new life to the town. Show the people that I have faith in
them to do this.
Kids:
1. At least twice a year we will have some type of fair that will get the kids invaded in many
different types of faiths to let the kids understand them so not to judge them.
2. We will also have a kid’s area which will have books as well as toys, which deal with the
Wicca faith. Yes it will only cover the Wicca faith at first, because of cost as well as size of the
store we all have to start somewhere.
3. We will also have Wicca classes that will be thought by a local high priest or high
priestess. This will be geared to their age as well as understand.
4. We will have a camping trip every year.
5. Give them hope, as well as a dream.
Teens:
1. We will also have Wicca classes that will be thought by a local high priest or high
priestess. This will be geared to their age as well as understand. They will be doing more with
how things work as well as be able to act in rites.
2. Will be able to help in the green house to understand how things grow as well as what
each plant is able to be used for.
3. We will employ teens as young as 14, but at 14 their work load might as be as small as
cleaning with no harsh chemicals allowed.
4. At the age of 16 they will be able to work as a regular employ.
5. Will be able to help at the camping trip.
6. Give them hope.
Adults:
1. We will also have Wicca classes that will be thought by a local high priest or high
priestess. This will be geared to their age as well as understand. They will be doing more with
how things work as well as be able to act in rites. Once they are at a high enough level as well as
knowledge they will be able to lead.
2. Able to work in any part of the store, other than teaching classes unless they are trained in
the subject.
3. Are able to use the harsh bio friendly chemicals.
4. Are able to become a manager inside the store.
5. Are able to open a second store with our name.
6. Will be able to lead the camping trips as well as add to it.
7. Give them hope.
Older adults:
1. We will give them something to do if we are able.
2. Gifts shopping for grandkids as well as their kids.
3. Try our best to make them feel they belong because we can always learn something new
from the things of our past who better to teach this than the once that have lived it.
4. All adults over the age of 60 will get an auto 15-20% off total amount due. As long as
they can share life event that is very inspiring and sign the waiver allowing us to post it on the
wall with a picture.
There are rich people as well as poor people where we are at the moment. You are able to see
this when you take a drive behind the IBM building this are people that are still working for the
company that is there as well as people that are working in large Government contract
companies.
When it comes to competitors there is none in this town, the closest once to me are a Christian
store in Johnson City, and a Wicca store in Binghamton City. The Christian store is large were
the Wicca store is a small corner store. Also where it comes to indirect competitors where I want
to place the store is a McDonald’s right off main street.
You have considered all age groups. However, you will also want to find out what intrigues
these different groups in terms of marketing. Gen X, Gen Y, ect. Do research and cite sources.
You also should consider that social views as some adults may not want their children learning
about Wicca or other religion.
Marketing Plan: Marketing Strategy (Unit 4)
I will be using a multi-segmented marketing strategy. This is because we will be using
mail, fliers posted inside stores that allow it, radio, and Facebook to get it out there that we will
be opening up as well as having grand opening party for the first 100 people to stop by and buy
something. Our prices will be based on how much it cost to order the products as well as cost of
running the company. How much will it cost? This is what you need to find out now and begin
to plan. This will include our work force. Will you also use the internet to deliver some
products?
Everything is the store will be placed into their faiths as well as the dark and light side of
them. People that want nothing do with dark don’t have to even look at them, as goes with the
light side.
Operational Plan (Unit 6)
(This section of the plan should contain:

I do this because there is some that are either really hard to find or hard to grow. This is something that the other store doesn’t have that we will. Here is a list of a few of the herbs that we will be trying to grow in our great house. • Angelica Root • Blessed Thistle • Calendula Flower • Damiana • Hyssop • Juniper Berries • Lavender Flowers • Mullein Leaf • Mugwort • Patchouli • Red Cedar • Red Rose Most of our in-store items we will be ordering from this main supplier and here is their information: (http://www.themagickalcat.com/Articles.asp?ID=242) (http://www.themagickalcat.com/default.asp) (First established in 2002, The Magickal Cat is a family owned & operated online store located in Massachusetts). • 7. Other items that we will be selling will be books. These books will range from spells, teaching, even different type of bibles which include the many different faiths. When it comes to gems there are so many out there that are low cost as well as some that are hard to get I am not going to list them because some of them will be as they come basses. Now when it comes to the cloths we will be selling cloths that you will be able to ware every day as well as cloths that you would only ware during a rite. The first part of growth is starting with the people that we will employ we will need stockers, cashiers, teachers, as well as people that know a thing or two about plants. We will also be setting up a website so people are able to see what we have in stock before they come in and find we are out or don’t carry it. If we don’t carry something we will order it for you and try to get it to you as fast as possible. The teachers will be there to teach people about Wicca as well as start a coven which everyone is able to join if they so wish. I would have to say that I would hire someone from a local coven to come down and teach as well as do so readings. If we are unable to find someone local we will look to have someone come in to teach from a temple. Also our workers don’t have to be Wiccan to work at our store because we are a store of many different faiths. It is easier to grow with faith and understanding of those around us. Marketing Plan: Market Analysis (Unit 4) The place that I live, has a rich history of the working man. You can see it by just taking a walk around town. The first building you will see is an old IBM building which is now run by a different company, because of what happened so many years ago. The other building you will see is an old shoe factory that used to run before it got too costly to try to outpace china. The sad but true story about this town is the fact that it is dying. My focus will be on the everyday man woman and child; this is because they need something to believe in. So when it comes to faith this is something that most of the people only have left. By starting a store in a place that is dying I have faith that it would give new life to the town. Show the people that I have faith in them to do this. Kids: 1. At least twice a year we will have some type of fair that will get the kids invaded in many different types of faiths to let the kids understand them so not to judge them.
  • 8. 2. We will also have a kid’s area which will have books as well as toys, which deal with the Wicca faith. Yes it will only cover the Wicca faith at first, because of cost as well as size of the store we all have to start somewhere. 3. We will also have Wicca classes that will be thought by a local high priest or high priestess. This will be geared to their age as well as understand. 4. We will have a camping trip every year. 5. Give them hope, as well as a dream. Teens: 1. We will also have Wicca classes that will be thought by a local high priest or high priestess. This will be geared to their age as well as understand. They will be doing more with how things work as well as be able to act in rites. 2. Will be able to help in the green house to understand how things grow as well as what each plant is able to be used for. 3. We will employ teens as young as 14, but at 14 their work load might as be as small as cleaning with no harsh chemicals allowed. 4. At the age of 16 they will be able to work as a regular employ. 5. Will be able to help at the camping trip. 6. Give them hope. Adults: 1. We will also have Wicca classes that will be thought by a local high priest or high priestess. This will be geared to their age as well as understand. They will be doing more with how things work as well as be able to act in rites. Once they are at a high enough level as well as knowledge they will be able to lead. 2. Able to work in any part of the store, other than teaching classes unless they are trained in the subject. 3. Are able to use the harsh bio friendly chemicals. 4. Are able to become a manager inside the store. 5. Are able to open a second store with our name. 6. Will be able to lead the camping trips as well as add to it.
  • 9. 7. Give them hope. Older adults: 1. We will give them something to do if we are able. 2. Gifts shopping for grandkids as well as their kids. 3. Try our best to make them feel they belong because we can always learn something new from the things of our past who better to teach this than the once that have lived it. 4. All adults over the age of 60 will get an auto 15-20% off total amount due. As long as they can share life event that is very inspiring and sign the waiver allowing us to post it on the wall with a picture. There are rich people as well as poor people where we are at the moment. You are able to see this when you take a drive behind the IBM building this are people that are still working for the company that is there as well as people that are working in large Government contract companies. When it comes to competitors there is none in this town, the closest once to me are a Christian store in Johnson City, and a Wicca store in Binghamton City. The Christian store is large were the Wicca store is a small corner store. Also where it comes to indirect competitors where I want to place the store is a McDonald’s right off main street. You have considered all age groups. However, you will also want to find out what intrigues these different groups in terms of marketing. Gen X, Gen Y, ect. Do research and cite sources. You also should consider that social views as some adults may not want their children learning about Wicca or other religion. Marketing Plan: Marketing Strategy (Unit 4) I will be using a multi-segmented marketing strategy. This is because we will be using mail, fliers posted inside stores that allow it, radio, and Facebook to get it out there that we will be opening up as well as having grand opening party for the first 100 people to stop by and buy
