So what is hopelessness? It is a feeling that conditions will never improve, that there is no solution to a problem, and, for many, a feeling that dying by suicide would be better than living, but we can be transformed from hopelessness to hope.
Bible records may examples of supernatural miraculous healing through God's power working through a person. Jesus demonstrated God's power to heal, cast out demons and raise the dead. Jesus commanded His disciples to do the same. The power of the Holy Spirit flowing through a man or woman is available today to to carry on the work of Jesus.

What if God loves and adores everything about you -- just because you're His Beloved and He is yours? These slide are for a talk given March 25, 2017 at Blazing Fire Church blazingfire.org To listen to Susan's talk, go to: http://blazingfire.podbean.com/e/we-are-the-beloved-susan-fochler/
This sermon considers Jesus' sixth beatitude, the blessing on the pure in heart. We consider two aspects of a pure heart: a heart that is undivided and a heart that is cleansed. We then look at Colin Smith's 7 steps to promote purity of heart as a practical application.
Easter Triduum Reflection for Vincentians [ENGLISH].Famvin Europe
Our Lenten journey culminates in the three days that make up the Easter Triduum. These three days draw us into the mystery of our salvation. Take a few minutes to reflect upon this presentation.
God is not seeking for the super spiritual,
or religious and theologically correct, rather
he is seeking for those who are foolish enough to believe for what they cannot see.
Hebrews 11:1 He is seeking people who would build an
ark in a desert before the rain starts.
Enough Lord, I get it, its not about 'why me’… Its about giving thanks rather
than complaining, its about
living in wonder at your
goodness and mercy and grace…
Its about realizing that no matter
what we go through in life, be it
sickness, pain or poverty, be it
death itself, Gods love will bring
us through to victory.
The biblical basis for our faith in God actually starts before time started and God has provided all we need for powerful, resilient, overcoming faith to deal with any challenge.

When we appropriate all that Christ has done for us, we have a responsibility to Him, our fellow members of the body of Christ as well as ourselves. Keeping the faith is an ongoing process. The wonder that forgiveness would forgive my bitterness and that meekness would forgive such an arrogant me…
The wonder that sinlessness would take on my sin and willingly die for me …that righteousness would redeem my unrighteousness
Just as you are, in confusion come, in pain come, in turmoil come, and let the blood of the resurrected Lamb of God set you free.
Once more repeat the words that saved your soul 'Just as I am Lord messed up with nothing to offer you, Lord Jesus I come' 'heal me and I shall be healed' ‘save me and I shall be saved’ Jeremiah 17:14 for in you Lord do I put my trust.
You have an invitation from the God of heaven to enter in… the key is on your side of the door, a door which enables ‘the dead to pass unto eternal life’ John 5:24
The story of Job is not a story of
sickness overcoming man, it’s about God overcoming sickness in man; (Isaiah 53:3, Psalm 103:2 Matthew 8:17)
It’s not about God allowing or
sending trials, it’s about God
bringing Job into ultimate victory
over the devils worst abuses.
I choose goodness because
God is good to me at all
times, I choose to be as
gentle as a lamb and as
harmless as a dove so that
Christ may be seen in all
my life
Is it Gods will to heal?
Yes; a million times yes...
If it were not Gods will, Jesus broke every rule in the book by healing all who came to him and all who were brought to him...
What is Gods highest wish for you?
‘Beloved I wish above all things
that you may prosper and be in health
even as your soul prospers’

LESSON 7 OVERCOMING OBSTACLES Gird Up The Loins Of Your Mind.pptxCarlenePierce1
In Biblical times, the long tunics got in the way when it came to battle, foot racing, and hard labor.
Girding up your loins" means tying up your loose garments in your belt.
A girded mind is one that is ready for action and is not easily influenced by the ungodly mind-set of those around us, nor is unsettled by any unbiblical and hostile worldview.
The "Learning and Living the God-centered life" had a retreat in which the theme was The Gospel. Here is our Friday night teaching was specifically designed to exhort each of us to stay steadfast in Christ!
The world has many views on who Jesus was but only the bible can bring you the full truth. He was and is the most amazing person who ever lived on this planet, he healed all, saved all and delivered all who came to him and he still does the same today. He truly is God manifest in the flesh. I wonder do you know hi m?
Sin called me sick, you ‘healed me by your stripes’ 1 Peter 2; 24
Sin called me a sinner; you ‘made me a priest of the royal priesthood’ 1 Peter 2; 9
Sin called me forgotten by God; ‘you carved my name in the palm of your hand’
Isaiah 49; 16
Dad;
all I ever wanted to be was a smaller version of you….
Mum,
I found someone who loved me even when others thought I was nothing but a mistake.
Mum and dad ,
Don’t cry for me, I have found what ‘you’ have been looking for all your life. I have found forgiveness and contentment, heaven and Heavens saviour.
If you follow him you will find me tooooooo...
My death overtook him, my grave clothes held him, my tomb enclosed him, and my sin surrounded him…
But…
‘The Rock Has Rolled Away the stone’
The stone that had held me has been replaced with the rock that saved me, the empty tomb is now my refuge, my high tower and my fortress...
Its easy to overcome depression when you know God is your strength in your distress, he is a refuge from every storm and a shadow when the going gets to hot to handle’ Isaiah 25:4
Its easy... just do it!!
I am the Lord your Shepherd, … I am your ‘shield, your fortress and your deliverer, so trust me… (Psalm 144:2) ‘none shall stand against you all the days of your life.’ (Joshua 1:5)…
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
