- Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Mission exists because worship doesn’t. Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man. When this age is over, and the countless millions of the redeemed fall on their faces before the throne of God, missions will be no more. It is a temporary necessity. But worship abides forever.
- The story of the Bible is about God being known and worshipped.God’s glory is the paramount theme.God can be loved only when He is known, the bible is the story of God revealing Himself to draw worship from the nations.

- A lot of people may have a problem with the fact that this sounds like PRIDE.Pride is not attractive to us. It's a human quality and not of God. 2) God cannot escape His own glory (who else is worth it?) 3) If putting something above God is idolatry, then God would be idolater if He put US above himself.4) There is nothing is us that we can glorify.Why does God want worship?Worship fulfills God’s love. He loves people so vastly that He wills them to something better than greatness; he wants to bring them into an honored nearness to Him.
