This document describes a 6-week marketing internship opportunity in Turkey involving various tasks. The internship involves attending an orientation, assisting with a terra cotta symposium through media-related work such as filming and photography, helping at a youth center after the symposium, and participating in a Global Village event to promote their home country. Skills in areas like Photoshop, teamwork, marketing and computer-aided design are preferred. Interns will gain experience in areas such as promotion, presentation, and working with artists. Housing will be provided in a dormitory and some meals, but transportation and insurance will not be covered.

Job Description1 Exchange participant has to attend orientation week
organized hosting Local Committee and Municipality ( both of them ) in the
beginning of program.
Job Description2 During the Terra Cotta symposium period volunteers will be a
part of media related works.
Job Description3 Preparing daily flyers, film shooting, photographing, making a
website, blog and updating the news regularly; making interviews are going to
be some of the works of the volunteers in the symposium
Job Description4 After symposium period Exchange participant has to help
and work in the youth center which has many activities in different fields, such
as education, culture, arts, and sports.
Job Description5 Before the symposium, all exchange participants have to join
the promotions so as to invite the public to the event.
Job Description6 All exchange participants has to join Global Village. That’s
why they need to bring traditional clothes, food, beverages, brochures,
gadgets as well as presentation about the country and any other useful
materials

Departure information should be given to Local Committee before arrival.
Health insurance info
Interns will surely need to have travel insurance before coming to Turkey. No
matter how much it costs in their country, it is mandatory to have ytheir
insurance. Interns have to send a copy of their formalinsurance form before
they come via mail, fax etc.
Visa & work permit info
Any citizen needs to take the AIESEC visa for whether GCDP or GIP in Turkey.
Some citizens have free entrance as a tourist to Turkey, although the GCDP in
Turkey is a social internship and for its purpose the AIESEC visa is necessary
for everybody.
