Ephesians 2:1-10. God's Grace. I. THROUGH GOD'S GRACE WE HAVE A NEW CONDITION - (Eph 2:1-3) II. IN GOD'S GRACE WE HAVE A NEW POSITION - (Eph 2:4-7) III. BECAUSE OF GOD'S GRACE WE HAVE A NEW AMBITION - (Eph 2:8-10)
There is no doubt that we are saved by the grace of God - but is this some mystical force - Paul teaches us in Titus 2:11-15 that God's grace teaches us how not to live, how to live as well as provides us with motivation to live and speak as the Grace of God instructs.
Fathers Matter: Understanding the love of God the Father through the eyes of ...Stephen Palm
This Fathers' Day sermon explores some of the vital contributions that engaged Dads make to a child's life. We will focus on the Fatherhood of God and the way in which His Son, Jesus, experienced the love of His Father and expressed that love to us. We will also look at God's love for us and compare it with Islam, which never asserts that "God is love." This sermon also asserts that our conception of our earthly father can have a huge impact on our ability to relate to God the Father.

We are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works. We are blessed for doing God's work. We are to speak and do. Faith without works is dead. Faith is shown by our works.
This is a collection of writings that deal with the issue of pleasing the Holy Spirit by the life we live. We can grieve Him or please Him, and the choice has eternal consequences. His pleasure is the key to our eternal pleasure. Good works in blessing others is a pleasure to the Holy Spirit.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

the following:

The Outcome expected from our work

abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit
Galatians 2:19 I stopped living for the law. I died to
the law, so that I may now live for God. I was killed
on the cross with Christ.
20 So, the life which I now live is not really me -- it is
Christ living in me! I still live in my body, but I live
by faith in the Son of God. He is the one who loved
me; he sacrificed himself for me.
2 Corinthians 5:17 So, if anyone is in Christ, he is
a new creation. Old things have passed away.
Listen, everything has become new.
18. The Company/ Organization we
are working for
Mark 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it
is given …….. the kingdom of God

disciples, and said, Blessed be ye …. for
yours is the kingdom of God.

Christ.
2 Corinthians 6:1 As God's co-workers, you
have received God's gracious love. We beg
you, don't waste it!
19. Enablers to our position and role
clarity
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every
spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ;
4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation
of the world, that we would be holy and without
blemish before him in love;
5 having predestined us for adoption as children
through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good
pleasure of his desire,
6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he
freely bestowed favor on us in the Beloved,
20. Enablers to our position and role
clarity
Ephesians 1: 7 in whom we have our
redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of our trespasses, according
to the riches of his grace,
8 which he made to abound toward us in
all wisdom and prudence,
9 making known to us the mystery of his
will, according to his good pleasure which
he purposed in him
21. Enablers to our position and role
clarity
Ephesians1:11 in Christ also we were assigned
….according to the purpose of him who works
all things after the counsel of his will
Ephesians 1: 13 in whom you also, having heard
the word of the truth, the Gospel of your
salvation,—in whom, having also believed, you
were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise
22. The Work: tasks
Bringing back people to God:
2 Corinthians 5:18 Everything comes from God.
He uses Christ to bring us back to Himself. God
gave us the work of bringing people back to
Himself.
19 When God was bringing the people of the
world back to Himself in Christ, He was not
counting their sins against them. God gave us
the message about how He brings people
back to Himself.
23. More Tasks
Soul winner: Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the
righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth
souls is wise.
Redeemer: Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for
us, that he might redeem us from all
iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar
people, zealous of good works.

made you overseers, to feed the church of
God, which he hath purchased with his own

which are seen, but at the things which are not seen:
for the things which are seen are temporal; but the
things which are not seen are eternal.
Colossians 3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall
receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve
the Lord Christ.
1 Peter 1:4 …an inheritance which is kept in
heaven for you. That inheritance will never
decay, spoil, or fade away.

soon. The reward I have is with me. I will pay back
each person according to the way he lived.”
25. The outcome
Romans 8:17 Since we are children, we are also heirs
-- heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ.
18 I consider the sufferings of the present time not

19 Creation waits eagerly for the time when the sons
of God will be revealed.
20 Creation was tied to worthlessness. That was not
what it wanted, but God wanted it that way. So, He
bound it. However, there is hope!
21 Creation itself will be set free from the slavery of
decay and be brought into the glorious freedom of
26. Now what?
How do I contribute to building the Kingdom of God?
How can I use my talents and opportunities in spreading
God’s message, bringing people to Him?
What is my role in redeeming creation?
How can I use my talents, resources, abilities and time
