7. 3-D Scanning All Around the Product
360 degree scanning ensures accurate and consistent measuring
results. One, two or three precision cameras (depending on
protein species—pork, beef, fish, turkey and poultry) are placed
around the conveyor to prevent unseen areas and shadow effects.
No Product Movement
A unique hold-down roller significantly reduces unintended
product movement during the cu ng process, which results in
efficient on-weight por on accuracy.
Open Construc on
Large hinged doors provide easy access for cleaning and
maintenance. All conveyor belts can be removed for cleaning and
inspec on without using tools.

The APS Por on Control Slicer is designed specifically for the
accurate por on cu ng of boneless meat products—beef,
pork, veal, lamb, fish, turkey and poultry.
• The APS Control Slicer uses 360 degree laser
technology to scan the en re subprimal in advance
of slicing.
• The system calculates the best possible slicing
pa ern, in order to ensure minimal giveaway while
op mizing yields.
• Improved yield ensures more rapid return on
investment and be er profit opportuni es.
• Pre-programmed calibra on makes it easy to change
products-up in seconds.
• Easy operator interface with a touch screen control
panel makes changing programs straight forward and
can be adjusted at any me during the por oning
