I start off projects with environmental sketches, and, sometimes I use a project with a set "goal" to help me accomplish that... in this case, I tried to imagine a mine... on a different planet!!!
As an avid life drawer, I was given the challenge of coming up with an other-worldly mining environment... and to draw it, lighting, atmosphere, and all... ENJOY...!
This short poem encourages embracing what makes you different and feeling beautiful for being unique. It says that seeing the inner beauty in others is what really matters, not fitting any external standards, and that difference is what truly makes people rare and beautiful. The poem promotes self-acceptance for being unique.

Recent advances in information technology include rising broadband adoption rates, increasing mobile phone subscriptions, growth of social networks, online shopping, and shifts to cloud, mobile, and ubiquitous computing. New technologies may one day allow memories to be recorded, replayed, and edited through chips, cameras, and nanobots installed in the human body, fundamentally changing how individuals and organizations view memory.

The document discusses trends in politics including failed states and the Arab Spring. Failed states refer to unstable countries that cannot provide basic functions and services to their citizens. The Arab Spring was a series of anti-government protests and uprisings that began in 2010 in countries across North Africa and the Middle East.
This document provides background information on trends affecting modern organizations and how organizations can structure themselves for the future. It discusses economic, demographic, political, and technology trends, including rising world population and GDP, aging populations, the rise of China, new IT technologies, and biotechnology advances. These trends present challenges for organizations, such as increased complexity. The document suggests organizations will need to adapt to remain healthy and successful by organizing in new ways, with some examples provided.
Traditional organization structures follow hierarchical and standardized bureaucratic models that work best for large organizations, while modern post-bureaucratic structures emphasize team-based, networked and virtual approaches that provide greater flexibility, customer focus and optimized decision making.
Advances in genetics, biotechnology, and brain and genome research will transform medicine and agriculture over the coming decades. Diseases will be diagnosed earlier and many aging diseases will be cured, extending average lifespans dramatically. These technologies may also enable assessing a person's character and traits before birth.

2. I think of the coolest places in my head
and I try to imagine the lighting...
And then I build them out...
FIRST:
Create a projeCt in one’s head that
embodies Creative environmental
imagination... so where better to
start than a mine... so i ask, Can my
mine be on another planet? why
not!!!
3. Second:
I wonder around this world for a bit,
thinking of the atmosphere, the build-
ing situations... or even the mining
possibilities...
4. third:
then i try to imagine what is out there...
who would live there?
what makes up “there”?
what is it like to live there?
how Can “i” get there?
9. I crawl back into the cave from
which I emerged...
10. lastly:
I create
HOME...
in all
sense of
a foreign
escape...
11. Because I like to imagine such strange and
wonderous worlds, I must first master my
own... and painting from life is going to be
the key in doing this...
and it’s all about finding the familiar to
“inspire” imagination...
and the proCess Continues...
