Computer vision is a field of artificial
intelligence (AI) that uses machine learning
and neural networks to teach computers and
systems to derive meaningful information from
digital images, videos and other visual
inputs—and to make recommendations or take
actions when they see defects or issues.

Computer vision is like giving farmers a smart set of eyes
to see and understand what's happening on their farms.
It helps monitor crops, spot pests and diseases early, and
even pick ripe produce efficiently. For example, drones
equipped with computer vision can scan fields to assess
crop health, while AI-powered apps can identify pests
and diseases from images, allowing farmers to take
timely action and reduce crop losses.
Weed control is a major concern for farmers worldwide.
Computer vision technology enables the development of
smart weed management systems that can distinguish
between crops and weeds with remarkable accuracy. If
farmers only spray weed killer where the weeds are, they
can use less chemicals and keep the environment safe
while they already still growing good crops.

In the manufacturing industry, the
demand for automation is at its peak.
Many tasks have already been
automated, and other new technology
innovations are in trend. For providing
these automatic solutions, Computer
vision is also widely used
