General Description
High rope course - KristallTurm®
KristallTurm GmbH & Co. KG, the German company has developed the unique high
rope course leisure, sports and event tower system called KristallTurm
®
. This
installation offers more than 100 people a dynamic sportive challenge at the height of
5 up to 20 metres, at the same time. Visitors gain an intensive experience with a
maximum of personal safety provided. Our personal safety equipment and individual
instruction by the qualified staff before starting climbing ensures a breath taking
recreation activity for first time climbers, advanced sports men and professionals.
For tourists and sports observers the KristallTurm
®
offers a visitor platform (option) for
close watching the “mountaineers” without personal safety equipment in safe
environment. This way you may first watch from the distance, feel the fascination and
get activated.
Groups may arrange for an event like party, team training, company presentation or
reception on the top platform with up to 100 participants. The view from the highest
platform creates impressive views and moments one never will forget.
This unique installation with a required area of only 1,000 square metres is designed
for various locations and even in city areas. The 30 stations and sports elements of
each floor are designed in coordination with the customers to adapt local or specific
themes.
The structure of the KristallTurm
®
consists of 18 poles separated by section, made by
wood or steel. All stairs and floors are made by wooden skins of one-sided/super sided
planed larch timber. Total height of the tower: up to 20 meters.

Technical Description
1.High rope course tower with steel / wood structure
High rope course steel structure consists of 18 hot-dip galvanised steel poles
separated by section. All stairs and wooden skins are of unilaterally super sided
planed wood. Total height is approx. 10 m above foundation with two levels.
The KristallTurm
®
is upgradeable to three or four levels. Total height then becomes
approximately 15 m (3 levels) or 20 m (4 levels).
With two or three levels a roof-top can be realized with the steel tower system. The
implementation with steel poles is defined as a “statically stiff construction”.
A first realization of KristallTurm
®
with two or three levels can be extended at any
time to a maximum of four levels or three levels plus roof-top.
2.High rope course tower with wood structure
High rope course tower structure with 18, separated by section, round masts of
board layer wood, BS 11, melamine resin glued and with two or three levels. All
stairs and wooden floor panels are of one-sided or super-sided planed wood. Total
height is approx. 10 m with two levels or approx. 15 m with three levels. The
implementation with wooden masts is defined as a “statically movable
construction“. Additional features (i.e. roof, fourth floor) are not available with this

concept.

4. Stations and sports exercises
For wooden towers structures the stations must be integrated while establishing the
tower structure onsite. A pre-fabrication is limited and a longer construction period
is to be considered.
For the steel high rope course the single stations can be pre-fabricated
systematically and tested at a special assembly device. The integration into the
tower structure will take place after completion of the towers setup. The integration
of stations is completed in a short time.
5. Roof
A roof with a membrane-steel system is available for a KristallTurm with steel
structures and 2 or 3 levels.

Conditions of Architecture and Static
The static of the architecture under the impact of wind, earthquake and snow have to
be known for the future site. This information is to be provided to KristallTurm
®
GmbH
& Co. KG. The customer is responsible for the load-carrying capacity of the ground and
the definition and construction of the foundations. It is recommended to contract a
foundation engineer who examines the ground and states the foundations accordingly.
The load cases working on the foundations are to be taken from the enclosed extract
from the static calculations as provided by KristallTurm
®
GmbH & Co. KG.
Service on the part of the builder
Civil construction, realized before and during the realization of KristallTurm
®
by the
customer:
1. Authorization for construction on base of the provided technical information by
KristallTurm
®
GmbH & Co. KG and issued by a local architect or civil engineer,
contracted by the customer.
2. Generation of all plans for foundation by a foundation engineer, contracted by
the customer. He analyses the ground conditions. All physical loads for the high
rope course are given by KristallTurm
®
GmbH & Co. KG.
3. All required earth works during the entire construction period.
4. Realization of concrete foundations by the construction company of the
customer. Adapters for the tower are delivered with the KristallTurm
®
.
5. Lifting ramp and a crane (with hook height of min. 25 m, with roof of 40 m,
range of cantilever min. 40 m)
6. Storage and landing area onsite in reach of the crane.
7. Energy and water supply as required
8. Access to construction site for the assembly team with document of
authorisation
9. Safety against unauthorized entry by pedestrians
10. Container or hut for secure and dry storage of all tools and machines.

Commercial Terms
General
This quotation is based on the present terms of sales and delivery, which are
subordinate to this offer and subject to change until we have received your written
order.
Delivery time
Approximately 4 months after settling all commercial and technical details and receipt
of the initial payment the KristallTurm
®
will be delivered.
Terms of delivery
EX WORKS, Lenggries / Munich, Germany
Transport
Transport is organized in cooperation with the customer. Cost of transport is not
included in the quotation.
Customs
All customs duties have to be paid by the customer.
Terms of payment
50% Down payment immediately after ordering
30% Payment before shipment, for final acceptance before delivery an external
consultant from TÜV or respected person named by the customer will conduct a
pre-inspection and issue a certificate.
The cost for this certificate is paid by the customer.
10% Payment after termination of construction
10% Payment after approval by external consultants to confirm the safety, before
submission of static and construction accounting report

Disclaimer of liability
The period of limitation for fault claims amounts 24 months from the day of the
completion, safety standards, authority release and acceptance by the customer. For
this period the principal receives an unconditional, unlimited and irrevocable guarantee
for the security of the fault claims at the rate of 10,000.00 EUR.
For damage, which originate from faulty service or against the regulations behaviour we
can take over no guarantee.
