Dennis "Whitey" Lueck has an open garden to the public that contains about a dozen different fruits and two dozen vegetables, including Marion berries in a circle and a Granny Smith apple tree that started bearing fruit after two years. Lueck maintains the garden with about 15 minutes of work per day and shares his father's influence of growing their own food, hoping to show others that composting is not as dirty as some believe.
