Dennis “Whitey” Lueck’s garden is open to the public
Marion Berries grow in a circle in the back of the main garden.
A Granny Smith apple tree. Whitey says it took only two years before it started to bear fruit.
“ I have about a dozen different fruits growing here and two dozen vegetables” says Lueck.

“ My dad grew all our food, that’s just what we did.”
Lueck moved into this house in 1998.

“ I wanted to show people that composting is not as smelly or dirty a process than they might think, so I put these where everyone can see them.”

“ It takes about 15 minutes a day on average to maintain this garden.”
