Greetings,
These are the guildlines for formating a letter correclty using the Lingua company letterhead. Font style is to
always be 8pts, black, and sans serif: preferably Arial Narrow; only acceptable alternative fonts are Arial,
Helvetica Neue, or Verdana. All copy including date, recipiant information, and signature must be justified left.
Left Margin is 2.5 inches, Right margin is .5 inches. Line spacing can be either 12pts or 1.5spaceing if
working in Microsoft Word. The date must be placed 2 inches down from the top of the page, followed by a
skipped line, then recipient information which includes: first line, recipient’s name, second line, company
name, third and fourth line, company address. The body is placed 4.25 inches down from the top. It begins
with a greeting, then skipping a space to start the body of the letter. The body of the letter will also skip lines
between paragraphs, with no indentation. The body of the first page of the the letter must end at 8.5 inches
down from the top of the page. The closing of the letter is one space down from the end of the body, and then
to leave a place for a hand signature skip down six more lines and conclude with your name.
