This document discusses lifting up the name of Jesus alone. It says that nowadays people go to church but not to Jesus, and that people lift up prophets, pastors, and church names instead of Jesus. It encourages lifting up only the name of Jesus, as exemplified by billboards that prominently feature people and church names but have Jesus' name in small fonts. John Michell believes in an ideal world view where the universe is seen as a living creature, like an organism where sickness in one part affects the whole. He argues that ancient civilizations, which viewed the human microcosm and the cosmic macrocosm as intrinsically related, lasted longer because their world view reflected human experience. While the prevailing views see the universe as a mechanism and promote colonizing other planets, Michell believes we should consider alternative perspectives like the steady-state theory and challenges to Darwinism, as an ideal world view is one that reflects our lived experience of the world.

This document discusses factors that influence job satisfaction, including organizational factors and personal factors. It cites research showing that happier employees are 12% more productive and companies that invest more in employee satisfaction see productivity increases. When employees feel their interests are supported by the company, they are more likely to be committed, loyal, and go above and beyond their duties. Job satisfaction is influenced by achievement, responsibilities, advancement, and personal growth. Satisfied employees are less likely to quit and are considered "marathon runners" rather than "sprinters."

This document summarizes a research study that investigated how news stories can influence real estate valuations in sub-Saharan Africa. The study surveyed 50 valuers across sub-Saharan Africa to understand how exposed they are to different news stories and whether that impacts their valuations, particularly for market valuations versus statutory valuations. The findings revealed that market valuations are more likely to be impacted by good or bad news stories, especially when valuers fail to exercise proper due diligence. The document recommends strategies for valuers to maintain objectivity and integrity as public interest specialists when conducting valuations.
