This document discusses the internal and external pressures that can impact a business. Internal pressures include new personnel, technology, finances, products, policies and culture. External pressures are categorized by PESTEC: political (e.g. laws), economic (e.g. interest rates), social (e.g. demographics), technological (e.g. internet), environmental (e.g. climate change), and competitive (e.g. market forces).
