This documentary aims to explore the debate around whether violence in the media causes behavioural problems in children. It examines different viewpoints on this issue from parents, psychologists, sociologists and academics. The documentary also looks at case studies and how media portrayals of violence have changed over time. It is meant to be informative for parents on whether certain media is having an influence on their children and the arguments on both sides of the debate. The documentary is split into three episodes focusing on violence in video games, music videos and news media.

 A London grime artist was put into jail for life after
murdering a rival music producer following a row

exposed to violent TV shows were much more
likely to later be convicted of crime.
 Girls who watched more than an average amount
of violence tended to throw things at their
husbands. Boys who grew up watching violent TV
shows were more likely to be violent with their
wives.
