This document outlines the steps 7th grade students will take to complete a Scratch programming project. Students will choose a project idea, review the evaluation criteria, plan their project on paper before the October 27th deadline, then use the October 27th and November 17th class periods to execute their plan in Scratch. Their final Scratch project and original plan are due November 24th and will be graded based on design/creativity, use of Scratch features, and functionality.

SRB
Computer
Lab
startup
page,
review
the
widget,
“Scratch
Project
Ideas”.
Decide
on
a
project
that
you
would
like
to
try.
2) Review
the
Scratch
final
project
evaluation
criteria.
3) On
paper,
plan
and
design
your
project.
Your
plan
will
be
turned
in
upon
completion
of
your
project
and
should
be
completed
before
class
on
October
27th,
2014.
Mr
Pavalon
will
come
around
and
sign
off
on
your
plan
during
class
on
October
27th.
4) Execute
your
plan
and
complete
your
project.
You
will
have
two
class
periods
(October
