7. COURSE OBJECTIVES

§ Providing the basic tools for making personal financial
decisions.
§ Introducing students to the three basic ideas underpinning
finance.
§ Providing students with introductory exposure to (1) present
value and capital budgeting techniques, (2) asset valuation
and the trade-off between risk and return, and (3) the
financing decisions of the firm.

wait until the break to enter the class. That session
is marked as not attending the class;
