ENVIRONMENT
MUX VLAN is commonly used to isolate Layer 2 traffic of different
interfaces in a VLAN.
In our example we will assume a simple configuration scenario: on
an enterprise network, all employees can access the enterprise
server, some employees need to communicate with each other,
whereas some employees must be isolated each other. As shown in
the picture,
MUX VLAN can be configured on the Switch to meet the
enterprise's requirements. A MUX vlan consists of different vlan
types, that are listed in the Table.
