Major sports are becoming more competitive every day and athletes already rely on the latest technological advances to push their performance even further. Augmented Reality offers an intuitive, non-obstructive way of helping athletes to utilize their full potential by practicing smarter and more efficiently than ever before. PuttView, the world’s first Augmented Reality solution for Golf Putting Practice, will be used as an example for how AR can be utilized for performance assessment, as a new way of interacting between player and coach and as an individualized guide for continuous improvement. Drawing on the experiences from PuttView, the talk will highlight further potential applications of AR for enhancing athlete performance in other sports.

Cities and companies around the world try to emulate the quality and pace of innovation that happens within Silicon Valley. Our vision is to bring the culture of innovation that Silicon Valley fosters to Bangalore, India. Silicon Valley embraces failure, so that’s a value we promote at CognitiveClouds. We teach our developers to fail quickly, learn from their mistakes and try a better approach. We also learn from other leading organizations within Silicon Vally. Through our partnership with Google, we’ve learned how to conduct design sprints, and we now use design sprints as part of our standard development process. We think all our engineers should work smarter instead of harder, so we invest in tools and processes that leading innovators use and follow. We believe an average developer with great tools and processes is more efficient and effective than a rockstar developer with no tools.
"The Ever-Changing Landscape of Disruptive Technologies"
