According to Arkansas Advanced Initiative for Science and Math, the main agenda is to increase the number of students who get into the Advanced Placement classes. There are people who believe that paying students in order to perform well is a good idea (Scott-Norman, 2011). There are cases of people who could have wasted their AP exams in entirety if they did not find the promise of gold on the other side. To high school students, money has become a big motivation and this holds great potential for a failed education system. The question concerning as to whether students should be awarded with incentive for good performance has controversy.

Over years, the American society has been looking out for the most cost effective means of improving the education system, especially at the elementary level. Recently one strategy, which has gained significant attention, is the use of short-term financial strategy to students in order to improve their performance. Between the year 2007 and 2011 there have been several studies carried out to determine how incentive is important when it comes to changes in the education system and improvement of performance.
When offering financial incentive to students, the results will take three possible ways. The first direction is that if the student lacks sufficient motivation, then providing incentives will yield positive results for the students (Fryer, 2010).
The second direction could be that if the individual does not have structural resources to convert the efforts to achievements that are measurable, or that performance relies upon factors that are beyond their control then incentives will have very little impact. The third argument, which forms the basis of this paper, is that external reward will undermine intrinsic motivation and create negative outcomes.

The performance of children in the learning environment is an important component of facilitating positive academic development. Therefore, it is important to consider a portfolio that looks into robust communication regarding the gaps associated with the learning environment. Students should have a capacity to identify their strengths in terms of learning new skills and knowledge. With the above in place, it would be crucial to communicate about the pros and cons of the teaching practice, the fitting portfolio system, and the chosen portfolio system. Also, it becomes crucial to focus on the portfolio system that would encompass growth in the developmental domains. Lastly, it is important to record how it would be possible to ensure fidelity in the portfolio system.
The teaching strategies Gold and Lifecubby portfolio system are an important component of the learning environment. The main reason for this is because it provides the student with the needed skills and knowledge to ensure effective performance. It is an important segment because it enables teachers to remain motivated and dedicated to teaching the students to become independent thinkers in their professional environment. Early education is critical and requires a teacher who is more patient and flexible in delivering the needed knowledge. A teacher who does not take the time to handle the students may become frustrated.
Therefore, the teaching strategies are crucial in the establishment of effective relationships with the students. Compare the use of Response to Intervention (RTI) as a method for identifying learning disabilities to at least one other method.
· RTI: With the RTI model, all children are universally benchmarked several times a year in various academic skill areas. This data helps determine which children are below average compared to their peers and measures the rate of growth across the year. Tiers of instruction are created using this data. Tier 1 includes general education curriculum. Tier 2 is extra help for students who score low. Small group instructional support is provided in addition to the tier 1. If progress is made the child will stay at tier 2 level, if not they will move on to tier 3. This will include a discussion with administrators, school psychologist, support staff and parents. This model allows the child to start receiving help before they have failed.
· The IQ-Achievement Discrepancy Model: With this model, educational teams, usually lead by a school psychologist show a discrepancy between overall intelligence and skill achievement. This discrepancy needs to be greater than 30 points. A child with an overall intelligence score of 100 as measured by a standardized test, but a skill performance of 70 would qualify as being learning disabled. With this model a child would have to be failing in order to receive extra help at school.
Identify which model you prefer and explain why.
· I would prefer the RTI model. This model it gives the student the opportunity to pull their grades up before they fail. The teacher does not have to wait to give help and the tiers are specific for each student. What's best about this model is that it forces the teacher to pay attention to the students and not just the ones that are passing but the ones that may have learning disabilities also.
Explain how RTI can be used as a method for preventing learning challenges in students who are at risk.
· By using the tier 1, 2, & 3 methods, teachers will be able to distinguish which students are at risk for learning challenges. If students do well with the first two tiers and does not need to advance to the last tier, learning challenges can possibly be prevented. The tier method allows for teachers to recognize the students that are more at risk for learning challenges than others.

Poor attitudes towards teacher training programs by the policymakers have had a huge impact on the education of children with disability. This has been contributed by the continuous poor speculations and perceptions among the key stakeholders who argue that the programs have not had a huge impact on the students not the teachers in their teaching techniques in school. Teachers who have attended teacher training programs have not showed any impact on their way of handling students with disabilities. This perception has grounded the growth of teacher training programs not only in the country but all over the world. This calls for research into the need for teacher training programs. This research is aimed at filling the gap between the perceptions and the teacher training programs. The findings of this research are projected to prove the existence of poor attitude towards the training of teacher’s programs. In addition, the research projects that there is a great impact on a teacher training program which has been shown by teachers teaching in special schools. There is also a connection between teacher training programs and quality education provision for students with various disability. The research also projects recommendations which can ensure that teacher training programs which has attracted poor attitudes can be transformed in order to provide quality education to students with special needs. The recommendations include integration of teacher’s coursework with hands-on practical to enable teachers to relate the two, carry out more research of importance of teacher training programs and also determine the impact of teacher training on students with special needs. The research applies a quota qualitative sampling method in the selection of the sample size. The sample group for the research is teacher training programs, special school teachers and lastly the education department for special education was chosen involving 2000 participants which gave a 100% representation. Data collected included the use of questionnaires and interviews for primary data and journals, articles and documentaries for secondary data. Data presentation used tables, charts and graphs. Analysis of the collected data applied narrative analysis in analyzing secondary data and discourse analysis in analyzing primary data. The results were presented widely and discussed to give a clear picture of the findings from the research study. All the research data from the research were also summarized to come up with a conclusion. The study has also cited gaps in the previous studies and given necessary suggestions which should be welcomed and used in the transformation of attitudes.

The US education system has come under a lot of criticisms because of the gap that exists between the curriculum and the expectations of employers in the market (America Institutes for Research, 2013). As a business owner, I support an increased focus on professional and technical training. The current economy demands complex knowledge, which means the current workforce should be highly trained workers (America Institutes for Research, 2013). The demands of the current economy cannot be compared to what was required in the past. There is a necessity for change in the education system to ensure that the suitable graduates churned out every year. Document Set 2 shows that there are 3.3 million job opportunities in the United States. Most of these jobs go for over month without being filled. It is a confirmation that the problem is the gap between what is taught and what is needed in the market. The information has been obtained from White House Job Council, which is a government controlled site. The information is backed by extensive research.
Research has discredited the myth that there is a job shortage in the country. There are many industries that have created jobs that require individuals with the appropriate training and education. Therefore, the problem is the lack of a strong connection between what is taught in school and the economy. There is a need to increase focus on the current curriculum to ensure that students are taught what exists in the market. A collaboration between higher learning institutions and employers is necessary to ensure that new graduates possess skills relevant to the demands of the current economy.
Technology has become an essential part of many industries, which explains the increased demand for professional and technical skills (Edmonson, 2005). Change is necessary to ensure that increased focus is given to technical education (Clagett & Nguyen, 2014). There is the option of creating a curriculum that instills the values obtained from liberal arts and technical education to help train versatile graduates.
As a business owner, I will take the following steps to clarify this information:

Poor attitudes towards teacher training programs by the policymakers have had a huge impact on the education of children with disability. This has been contributed by the continuous poor speculations and perceptions among the key stakeholders who argue that the programs have not had a huge impact on the students not the teachers in their teaching techniques in school. Teachers who have attended teacher training programs have not showed any impact on their way of handling students with disabilities. This perception has grounded the growth of teacher training programs not only in the country but all over the world. This calls for research into the need for teacher training programs. This research is aimed at filling the gap between the perceptions and the teacher training programs. The findings of this research are projected to prove the existence of poor attitude towards the training of teacher’s programs. In addition, the research projects that there is a great impact on a teacher training program which has been shown by teachers teaching in special schools. There is also a connection between teacher training programs and quality education provision for students with various disability. The research also projects recommendations which can ensure that teacher training programs which has attracted poor attitudes can be transformed in order to provide quality education to students with special needs. The recommendations include integration of teacher’s coursework with hands-on practical to enable teachers to relate the two, carry out more research of importance of teacher training programs and also determine the impact of teacher training on students with special needs. The research applies a quota qualitative sampling method in the selection of the sample size. The sample group for the research is teacher training programs, special school teachers and lastly the education department for special education was chosen involving 2000 participants which gave a 100% representation. Data collected included the use of questionnaires and interviews for primary data and journals, articles and documentaries for secondary data. Data presentation used tables, charts and graphs. Analysis of the collected data applied narrative analysis in analyzing secondary data and discourse analysis in analyzing primary data. The results were presented widely and discussed to give a clear picture of the findings from the research study. All the research data from the research were also summarized to come up with a conclusion. The study has also cited gaps in the previous studies and given necessary suggestions which should be welcomed and used in the transformation of attitudes.

It is a confirmation that the problem is the gap between what is taught and what is needed in the market. Research has discredited the myth that there is a job shortage in the country. There are many industries that have created jobs that require individuals with the appropriate training and education. Therefore, the problem is the lack of a strong connection between what is taught in school and the economy. There is a need to increase focus on the current curriculum to ensure that students are taught what exists in the market. A collaboration between higher learning institutions and employers is necessary to ensure that new graduates possess skills relevant to the demands of the current economy.

This paper is designed to explain about the benefits and disadvantages of Work Integrated Learning in emergency food relief program via professional placement practice. - 6. The Program The program's different stakeholders will work together to accomplish its stated goals. The occupational therapist will collaborate with parents and teachers to implement various interventions to assist pupils. Parents will work with pupils to resolve any issues with homework management. Stress might contribute to difficulties with assignment management.
- 7. The Program Parents and educators will collaborate to identify and notify the occupational therapist of unmet requirements.
