surface preparation. Following the rules might

3. 1. Surface on which PTFE glass fabric is
to be applied has to be degreased, clean,
and dry. To avoid burning, apply an
oilcloth at ambient temperature. Do not
apply oilcloths on excessively cooled
surfaces, because steam condensation
will make adhesion difficult.

4. 2.The smoother the operating surface, the
larger the adhesion surface is and hence
the stronger the connection of an PTFE
glass fabric to a surface.

5. 3. In case of larger bends of a small
surface, the applied PTFE glass fabric as
cut roll or zone tape may return to its
natural form, especially with thicknesses
above 0.10 mm.

from -150˚C to +260˚C.
