The use of LNG as a marine fuel has been promoted for some time but much traction has been gained due to new regulations
on emissions reduction. The adoption of LNG as a marine fuel will no doubt raise questions pertaining technological,
technical and operational issues; for example, safety considerations have been on the forefront of discussions.
It is critical that there is an open forum to discuss these issues and share solutions and the LNG Marine Fuel Forum,
inaugurated in 2015, has been that platform for the LNG and marine communities. LNG Marine Fuel Forum 2018 will
continue to uphold the standards set by previous instalments of the conference cum exhibition, with industry experts and
leaders presenting papers and engaging in panel discussions.
