Recording resources can be divided into three main types: journals, which are recorded by handwritten notes or dictation; video cameras, which require manually operating the camera to capture footage; and microphones, which pick up sound waves to record voice or audio. Each type of recording has its own specialized methods, such as writing with pen and paper for journals, pressing a record button to capture video, or using microphones to project and preserve sound.
