Magazine Beach
Magazine Beach is a 17-acre park situated in 668 Memorial Dr. Cambridge, MA 02139. It is the second
biggest Park in Cambridge. It is situated on the Charles River, Magazine Beach includes a swimming
pool, baseball and football fields, as well as picnic spots. There are also some historic structures within
the park. The 1818 Powder Magazine is the oldest structure located in the Charles River Basin and the
1912 Riverside Boat Club boathouse was the last working man's club along the river. If you're visiting
on Thursdays, make sure you bring your yoga mat (and mask) to join in free yoga classes in the park!
Mount Auburn Cemetery
The cemetery is located situated at Mount Auburn St. Cambridge, MA 02138, Mount Auburn Cemetery
was purchased through the Massachusetts Horticultural Society in 1831 and was one of the first
gardens in the United States. Mount Auburn Cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic
Places in 1975 and was declared as a National Historic Landmark in 2003. Start your visit by visiting the
visitor center in the Story Chapel. It is located within the entrance gate. When you are there, make sure
to participate in the self-guided tour which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the passing of the
19th Amendment, women's suffrage.

It is located toward North Cambridge and Porter Square, Danehy Park is a 50-acre park that is situated
on the site of a former municipal landfill. Danehy Park is located at 99 Sherman St.
Cambridge, MA 02138. Children, adults and pets are able to enjoy Danehy Park's various activities
such as football, softball, biking, jogging as well as a dog park.
Fresh Pond Reservation
It is located at the Cambridge Highlands at 180-220 Fresh Pond Parkway Cambridge, MA 02138. Fresh
Pond Reservation consists of the 155-acre Fresh Pond Lake and 162 acres of land

is situated within the reserve.
