this pleases the Lord."

3. This lesson will help you ..
• tell about the basic rules being followed inside your
home.
• explain the importance of constantly following these
rules.
• determine the steps to take to help make your family
relationships stronger.
4. Strong family ties is one of the values you
can really be proud of as a Filipino. But your
home can be a happy and peaceful place only
if you cooperate and constantly obey the rules
and principles set by your family.
5. Do you have rules at home?
Can you give one example of rules in your
house?
9. God: The Garden of Eden shall be your home; so
you must take good care of it. You may eat the
fruit of any tree in the garden, except for one.
Adam: Which tree are You referring to, God?
10. God: The tree in the middle of the garden - the Tree of
the Knowledge of Good and Evil. If you eat the fruit of
this tree, you will surely die!
Serpent: Hssss! Is it true that God forbids you to
eat the fruit of any tree in the garden?
11. Eve: God said that we could eat the fruit of any tree,
except for this tree in the middle of the garden that
could give us knowledge about good and evil. If we eat
the fruit of this tree, we will die
12. Serpent: Hssss! You will surely not die! God
told you that so that you could not become
like Him. If you eat the fruit of this tree you
will know about good and evil just like God!
13. Eve: Well, this fruit actually looks yummy! It may not
really hurt if I taste just a bit of it!
Adam:(Upon seeing Eve) Woman, what are you
doing? We are not allowed to eat that fruit
14. Eve: Taste it. Adam! This fruit is really
good!
Adam: Really? Okay, I'll taste just a
bit.
15. Adam and Eve: Oh no! What happened to us?
Why are we naked?
Adam: Come on! Let us get some leaves and use
them to cover our bodies!
16. Eve: Can you hear that, Adam? God is coming! What
are we to do?
Adam; Let us hide behind those frees.
God: Adam! Adam, where are you? Are you and your
wife hiding behind the trees?
17. Adam: We heard Your footsteps, and we were
afraid: so we hid from You.
God: Why were you afraid?
Adam and Eve: Because ... because we are naked
18. God: Who told you that you were naked? Did you
eat the fruit of the tree from which I commanded
you not to eat?
Adam: It's not my fault! It's the woman You gave
me - It's her fault, She was the one who first ate
the fruit, and gave some to me, So l ate it, too.
19. Eve: Why are you blaming me? It's not my fault either!
It's the serpent's! It deceived me, that's why late the
fruit!
God: Enough! Because of what you have done, I will
banish you from this garden that is your home! From
now on, you will be separated from Me!
