In the beginning God created all things

He provided ideal living conditions

Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;
but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil
you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it
you shall surely die.
And Adam and Eve were both naked, the man and
his wife, and were not ashamed.
Then God commanded:

But Satan appeared on the scene…
• The devil
• A deceiver
• Our adversary
• The father of all lies
• Chief of fallen angels
• The prince of this world
• Poses as an angel of light
• He wants to take you to his destination - HELL

Has God REALLY said, “You shall NOT eat of EVERY
tree…?”
We may eat of the trees in the garden, but of the
fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the
garden, God has said, “You shall not eat it - nor
shall you touch it - lest you die.”
Satan attacked by sowing doubt…
At first, Eve resisted…

You will NOT surely die!
For God knows that in the day you eat of it your
eyes will be opened, and you will be like God,
knowing good and evil.
But Satan persisted…

So when the woman saw
that the tree was good for food,
that it was pleasant to the eyes,
and a tree desirable to make
one wise,
She took of its fruit and ate.
She also gave to her husband, and he ate.
Disaster struck the human race…
And Eve was deceived

Adam & Eve ate of the fruit
And sin entered the world

And separated sinners from God
Sin evoked God’s judgment

And so sin entered the world,
and death through sin.
And death spread to all men,
because all sinned.
Genesis Chapters 2 & 3
The wages of sin is death!
And the consequence…

Even today…
NO ONE is right with God
- not even one –
FOR ALL HAVE SINNED
And come short
of the glory of God.
Romans 3:10,23
Is there a way back to God?

Yes!

He sent His Son to pay the penalty for our sins
God Provided a Rescue Operation
And the consequence…

But Satan hates you and does not want you to believe this!
God loves you!
He wants you to know the truth

Jesus said:
Broad is the way that leads to destruction
and there are many who go in by it.
Narrow is the way which leads to life
and there are few who find it.
(Matthew 7:14)

If you trust Jesus, you can escape eternal death!
Jesus said… I am the way, the truth
and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Can you truly say…

Your life depends on it…
