The document discusses the benefits of exercise for mental health. Regular physical activity can help reduce anxiety and depression and improve mood and cognitive functioning. Exercise causes chemical changes in the brain that may help boost feelings of calmness and well-being.
I believe that that each of us has a different definition of success. That personal definition, is affected by many things. Some of those things include, our family, friends, religion, school, so basically our environment and the way we were raised.
My opinion. Now, changing the world can take many forms. The change does not have to be big, but meaningful. Regarding goals. I believe you have to set high goals and expectations, and use your resources to the maximum of their capacity in order to achieve them. Not achieving those goals doesn’t make you UNSUCCESSFUL, because trying to do something is what matters.
So let me ask you, are successful people any different thank UNSUCCESSFUL people? If so, how?
Does anyone want to comment on this?
Ok. Well I did some research and I found out that HABITS are a big part of success. How you behave, and what you do, will determine the people you will become. There are 2 major habit categories:
Being Complacent
Human Nature (comfortable & secure)
Blaming others (you are the victim)
Being complement is really easy to fall on, after all, it is human nature. After we feel secure and comfortable, we don’t really want anything past that. You might be thinking, “that’s not true,” but let me give you an example. Myself, and some friends say that we want to have a better body, or that we want to get better grades. But do we really want to? If we did, we would be waking up early to work out, or studying twice as hard for their next exam.
These people tend to blame others for what happens to them. This used to be me.
Being Proactive:
Opposite of the things I talked
We will talk about this in more detail
So what are the 6 principles of success that PROACTIVE people follow? By principles of success, I am referring to the BUILDING BLOCKS of success, what you need strive for and develop to become successful.
The first one is to trust yourself: be CONFIDENT. You have to be confident of the way you talk, present yourself, what you know, etc.
Secondly, you have to stop FEARING failure
Failure: losing your job, money, love, etc.
Fatal Failure: can anyone guess what fatal failure is? Its dying. The worst thing that can happen to you in any situation is dying.
Don’t listen to nay Sayers
Santiago Munez: “The only one who can tell me I'm not good enough is you. And even then I may not agree with you”
I like this quote because early on, it showed me that, sometimes, we have to stop listening to our own family, when they say that things cant be done. Be careful with NAY sayers, they might bring you down if they’re someone you care about.

We will focus on THESE since we covered some on the last slide and we don’t have that much time
PRACTICAL WAYS TO FINDING YOUR PASSION
One example of someone I consider successful is my dad, he is a carpenter that almost lives day by day with the job he has. So why do I consider my dad successful? For 3 things:
Education
He was born in MEXICO, he had eleven siblings, so paying for his education was not one of the top priorities of his parents. So he decided to become a books salesperson to fund himself and help his family at the same time.
Started from the bottom
Company story
He raised my brother and I in a safe environment
Divorced my mom and was still able to give us a happy life and taught my brother and I to be educated, open minded, and hard workers
If you don’t remember anything we talked about, please remember THIS!!!!
[Tell them that you were thinking of making a sign up sheet where they could tell me they wanted for me to email them the PowerPoint, but why that is bad, and why you want them for them to give you their email and talk to you]
