The document outlines plans for a 3D animation of a bedroom environment. It will include animations of a bed dropping onto a mattress using nCloth simulation, chest of drawers opening and closing with individual draw faces animating, and a ceiling light swinging. Additional real-world items like a phone, laptop, and textures will be downloaded. The animator aims to understand nCloths and dynamics to effectively animate self-modeled objects. Basic furniture will be chosen to avoid complexity. Religious content, copyrighted assets, and inappropriate animations must be avoided. Estimated modeling, adjustment, and texturing times are provided for main objects.
3. One of my first animations in my scene will be of the bed dropping on to the mattress, this
is done by making the bed a collision object and turning the rectangular shape into an
nCloth
4. My second animation will be of chest of draws opening and closing, I will create the draws
separately from the draw holders so each face can be pulled out and in individually
5. The chest of draws lamp will flicker on and off within my animation, meanwhile the
light hanging from the ceiling will swing back and forth. In order for the swinging to
take pace I presume the light cord will need to be flexible
6. Once I've gained a full understanding on how ncloths and dynamics work within the
animation process I will model object which require them, this will then be effective
in my anime scene.
I have decided to animate all objects in the room which I have created myself, this
will enhance my skills and ability to animate self-made objects
I have decided for my environment to be the average bedroom, consisting of
simple household furniture.
7. Items which I'll have to add to my environment to make it more life like even if I
cant create them will have to be downloaded via an online rig source like
Turbosquid.com
These items may be:
•Mobile Phone
•Furniture Textures
•Laptop
•Light Switch
•Rug
•Windows
•Television
8. The objects I have chosen are very basic as there are not as much variations of each
object. In example, there aren’t many different types of beds, they are quite straight
forward the only thing which may vary is the style/design. A bed will always consist
of a frame, mattress, sheets & pillow(s) depending on the size
9. •I can not portray any religious views in the bedroom
•I can not use copy written images or models, I will need permission
•Objects downloaded from “Turbo Squid” need to be highlighted and not demonstrated as
if I had crated them myself
•Animation must be age appropriate to al viewers
