This document summarizes a study on the use of child begging in Jordanian society. The study aimed to identify the social and economic factors forcing children into begging. It addresses topics such as the challenges in implementing the ECOWAS free movement protocol, environmental and forced migration in the region, labor migration and remittances, and return migration. The chapters provide empirical evidence and theoretical reflections on the migration-development nexus in West Africa. The book deepens understanding of the dynamics, causes, and effects of migration in the region by presenting case studies from multiple West African nations on issues like human smuggling, gendered migration

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

case study approach for the residents of government beggars’ care and rehabilitation center in Madaba, and
also on the children beggars in city streets around the downtown area. The number of cases was (15), it was
carried out during February, March and April 2017.
The study results included the following: beggars were all Jordanians of both sexes, Muslims, not healthy, low
education levels, and not enjoying a good health nor a good physical appearance. Most the child beggars suffer
from family disintegration and school dropout, lack of awareness among their employers of the importance of
family role and its members in bringing up them up in a socially sound manner. Childrens’ employers are there
families, who are in need of the basic health and economic assistance, pushed toward the use of children in
begging.
The results showed that the official role of the Jordanian Ministry of Social Development represented in the
care and rehabilitation of beggars’ center in Madaba is not at the required level as hoped, since the same
children are considered frequent visitors of the center, without a social care and follow-up systems from the
center, leading to a conclusion that the adopted procedures in the center did not eliminate the phenomenon
from its roots.
Keywords: begging, beggars, children, beggars’ characteristics, beggars’ employers’ characteristics, the
beggars care and rehabilitation center in Madaba anthem.
