Social Relationship is a broad
definition of how we interact
and behave with other people,
how they interact and behave
with us.
In social relationships, we learn
to cooperate with others in
achieving a common objective.

RELATIONSHIP
WITH SOCIAL
RELATIONSHIP?
It is the degree of intimacy
and vulnerability we offer
to other people. The more
intimate and vulnerable
we are with another, the
more personal our
relationships is with this
person.
1. COMPLIANCE - is when a
person seems to agree and
follows what is requested or
required to believe in.
2. IDENTIFICATION - is when a
person is influenced by someone
he/she likes to look up to
3.INTERNALIZATION
- is when a person
is able to own a
certain belief.
1. CONFORMITY - it involves a
change in behavior, belief or
thinking to be like others.
2. CONVERSION - occurs when an
individual whole-heartedly
changes original thinking and
beliefs, actions to align with those
of the other members of the
group.
3. MINORITY INFLUENCE - happen
when a bigger number of people
are influenced by a much smaller
number of people and when the
minority's way of looking at.
4. REACTANCE - is when there is a
willing rejection of social influence
being exerted on an individual or
group.
5. OBEDIENCE - wherein a person
follows what someone tells to
do.
6. PERSUASION - is used by one
person or group to influence
another to change their beliefs,
actions and attitudes by
appealing to reason.

types of behavior they exhibit.
3. PARTICIPATIVE THEORY - involves
other people to make common
decisions.
4. SITUATIONAL THEORY - based on
the factors present and takes into
consideration how followers behave.
5. TRANSACTIONAL THEORY -
involves a negotiation of resources
and employs reward and
punishment.
6. TRANSFORMATIONAL THEORY - is
in motivating others to support the
vision and make it happen.

display adaptability and
flexibility even when they take
on different roles of different

their relationship with their
followers and that different
types of relationships can
evolve between leader and
follower in a certain work
situation.
The "WHY" type of leader is
usually the visionary, the one who
believes results can be achieved.
The "HOW" type of leader is the
realist who is able to see how to
work out a vision
The "WHAT" type of leader is the
builder who provides the details
on how to get things done.

"HOW" or "WHAT"
type of leader?
What makes you
think so?
We are all a unique individual, and we all
have differences with others. Most of the
time, we look at our differences and may
have “labels” toward one another.
Though we are part of our society, we
are still different individuals living in this
society. Every one of us will have different
appearance or points of view.
Labels could be negative or limiting, but
we could go beyond the labels. We can
redesign the labels to something new and
exciting. We also need to accept other
differences for harmonious relationship.
We all cannot live by our own
without asking help from others. It
is our responsibility to help and
show humanity to others.
it is not about the differences or
uniqueness, but it is about how we
accept and embrace that
differences and help our fellow
men.
Lastly, don’t listen to the hate. It
will not shape you.

  • 34. We are all a unique individual, and we all have differences with others. Most of the time, we look at our differences and may have “labels” toward one another. Though we are part of our society, we are still different individuals living in this society. Every one of us will have different appearance or points of view. Labels could be negative or limiting, but we could go beyond the labels. We can redesign the labels to something new and exciting. We also need to accept other differences for harmonious relationship.
  • 35. We all cannot live by our own without asking help from others. It is our responsibility to help and show humanity to others. it is not about the differences or uniqueness, but it is about how we accept and embrace that differences and help our fellow men. Lastly, don’t listen to the hate. It will not shape you.
