Uddin, graced the exhibition by being the chief guest at the
opening ceremony and formally inaugurated the exhibition. At the
opening ceremony other special guests were Mr. Moinuddin
Ahmed, 1st Vice President, BGMEA, Mr. Mansoor Ahmed, 1st Vice
President, BKMEA, Mr. Sayed Nurul Islam, CEO Well Group.
The opening ceremony was leaded by Mr. Ahmed Imtiaz, CEO ,
Redcarpet365 Ltd. He said, Chattogram is the 2nd RMG heartland
after Dhaka & known as the Commercial Capital of Bangladesh.
Being the major seaport of Bangladesh, Chittagong is handling
about 92% of import-export trade of the country.
He also added, The vast economic potential of Chittagong, a city
with unique advantages of ports, roads and railways, largely
remains untapped. Hosting about 40 percent of the country's
heavy industries and the second RMG heartland, the commercial
city. So there is lot of opportunities with sustainable business in
this area.
