This slideshow introduces the cultural need and Church teaching on evangelization. It is the Evangelical Catholic\'s introductory presentation when training Catholic leaders.
The Catholic Church is in the midst of a great crisis. In fact, many commentators in Catholic media are already saying that the Church is perhaps already in the midst of a de facto schism. On one side, you have high-ranking liberal prelates pushing for major changes in the Church: same-sex unions, cohabitation, contraception, tolerance towards abortion, and many others. On the other side, you have faithful Cardinals and bishops fighting to preserve the True Traditional teachings of the Catholic Church.
We are living in the midst of the Great Apostasy in the End Times foretold so long ago. We are living in the period of a massive loss of the True Faith, just prior to the Second Coming of Our Lord.
In this 3-day online conference, we will cover in extensive detail this prophesied Great Apostasy in the End Times.
By embracing Spiritism, you frequently ask for guidance in the attitudes that life requires from you.
Considering this, André Luiz outlined the norms that constitute this epitome of conduct.
We do not find here boastful pages that presume to teach good-natured guidelines, but a simple set of reminders for personal use on the path of experience, as a script for our doctrinal logic.
The Divine Master once said: "Whoever follows me, follows me.”
In other circumstances, he affirmed: "Whoever follows me, does not walk in darkness. "
Thus, we recognize that it is not enough to admire Christ and spread His precepts. It is indispensable to follow Him in order to be in the blessing of light.
For this, it is imperative to seek his pure and living lesson.
In the same way, the Spiritist Doctrine reinvigorates his apostolate of redemption.
Whoever seeks to serve it, must heed its indications; and whoever does this will never suffer doubts or shadows.
Thus, reading this book is equivalent to listening to a companion faithful to common sense.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

1. Pope Francis: Temptations (cont.)
No to selfishness and spiritual sloth
From The Joy of the
Gospel (Evangelii
gaudium) nn. 81-83,
by Pope Francis
2. 81. At a time when we most need a missionary dynamism which will bring salt and
light to the world, many lay people fear that they may be asked to undertake some
apostolic work and they seek to avoid any responsibility that may take away from
their free time. For example, it has become very difficult today to find trained parish
catechists willing to persevere in this work for some years.
Pauline.org
3. Something similar is
also happening with
priests who are
obsessed with
protecting their free
time. This is frequently
due to the fact that
people feel an
overbearing need to
guard their personal
freedom, as though the
task of evangelization
was a dangerous poison
rather than a joyful
response to God’s love
which summons us to
mission and makes us
fulfilled and productive.
Some resist giving
themselves over
completely to mission
and thus end up in a
state of paralysis and
acedia.
Pauline.org
4. 82. The problem is not always an excess of
activity, but rather activity undertaken badly,
without adequate motivation, without a spirituality
which would permeate it and make it pleasurable.
As a result, work becomes more tiring than
necessary, even leading at times to illness. Far
from a content and happy tiredness, this is a
tense, burdensome, dissatisfying and, in the end,
unbearable fatigue.
5. This pastoral acedia can be caused
by a number of things. Some fall
into it because they throw
themselves into unrealistic projects
and are not satisfied simply to do
what they reasonably can. Others,
because they lack the patience to
allow processes to mature; they
want everything to fall from heaven.
Others, because they are attached
to a few projects or vain dreams of
success. Others, because they
have lost real contract with people
and so depersonalize their work
that they are more concerned with
the road map than with the journey
itself. Others fall into acedia
because they are unable to wait;
they want to dominate the rhythm
of life. Today’s obsession with
immediate results makes it hard for
pastoral workers to tolerate
anything that smacks of
disagreement, possible failure,
criticism, the cross.
Pauline.org
6. 83. And so the biggest threat of all gradually takes
shape: “the gray pragmatism of the daily life of the
Church, in which all appears to proceed normally,
while in reality faith is wearing down and
degenerating into small-mindedness”. A tomb
psychology thus develops and slowly transforms
Christians into mummies in a museum.
Pauline.org
7. Disillusioned with reality, with the
Church and with themselves, they
experience a constant temptation
to cling to a faint melancholy,
lacking in hope, which seizes the
heart like “the most precious of
the devil’s potions”. Called to
radiate light and communicate life,
in the end they are caught up in
things that generate only
darkness and inner weariness,
and slowly consume all zeal for
the apostolate.
Pauline.org
8. For all this, I repeat:
Let us not allow ourselves to be robbed of the joy of evangelization!
http://bit.ly/18B5RDK
9. For reflection & prayer
In creating the universe, with the human person as its apex, its crown, God
intended to give it life to the full. Sin disrupted that—built tombs and instilled
fear. It still does. But Jesus has broken its power. How is God inviting me
right now to tap into that power, to live a free, joyful life? What hindrances
do I need to leave behind?
Jesus, from inside the tomb of everything that holds me back from life, I hear
your voice calling me, calling us, from death to life…and sending us to call
others in your name and in your power. Help us to always seek, like you,
the will of the Father, in whose name you send us (see Jn. 5:28-30).
