connectivity of Metro to Delhi and setting up of Industries. With new growth the city provides a new set of
opportunities to cater to the demands of present population and fostering third spaces and provide inclusive
environments for social cohesion, leisure activities and enhance safety.
The fabric can be designed to have vibrant environment and which cater to various aspects such as Physical,

in the 1960s. These theories provide us with the knowledge
of how better integration with streets and residences can
help create a safer neighborhoods. Such theories can be
implemented within our cities to design a safer urban
fabric.

This developed urban form is observing
transition as commercial buildings are
being constructed to cater the demands
of the citizens.
Although these buildings are being
developed there lacks proper third
spaces which enhance the vibrancy of
overall environment.
Presence of WTP in close proximity
hampers the activeness thus the stretch
becomes unsafe.
Coming up of informal vendors is
however making the place a bit more
active.
The land is also reclaimed to convert
into commercial space, other is old
court area which has become a defunct
space and hampers safety.
Intervening in these areas provide an
opportunity to provide vibrant and
inclusive environments to improve the
liveability of the residents.

Precinct 1 – Developed urban form with requirement of third spaces Industries Commercial Residential WTP Neighbourhood Market The Planned Sectors are becoming primary residential area with Metro Station in close proximity. This developed urban form is observing transition as commercial buildings are being constructed to cater the demands of the citizens. Although these buildings are being developed there lacks proper third spaces which enhance the vibrancy of overall environment. Presence of WTP in close proximity hampers the activeness thus the stretch becomes unsafe. Coming up of informal vendors is however making the place a bit more active. The land is also reclaimed to convert into commercial space, other is old court area which has become a defunct space and hampers safety. Intervening in these areas provide an opportunity to provide vibrant and inclusive environments to improve the liveability of the residents. Creation of inclusive and vibrant place can help in revival of this defunct area as a place of social inclusivity and commercial activities will be benefitted by the conversion of the area into a celebratory space. With creation of third spaces safety will be enhanced as the place becomes more active and vibrant.
