This document provides a year-end review of activities for the Eta Chapter of an organization. Scholarship Committee, presented a
scholarship award to Ivy Swick of Fort
Hill High School.

5. YARD SALE
July 16, 2017
$135 was raised and donated to the Children’s
Literature Center at Frostburg State University

Eta Chapter and Alpha Alpha Chapter
had a joint meeting in Garrett County.
Sharon Darling, State President, came
to visit. We were her first chapter visit
of the biennium.

workshop on Revitalization to address
declining membership.

10. Operation Christmas
Child
November 15, 2017

Eta Chapter sisters packed 85 shoeboxes
with donated items from members.

11. Christmas Luncheon
and Holiday Auction

The sisters of Eta Chapter gathered in
December for the Annual Holiday
Auction. Funds from the auction are
used to support scholarships. Members
bought baked goods, crafts, and
themed items for the auction. It was
fun to join the bidding wars.

Chapter sisters Florence, Sue, Kelly,
Bev, Annette, Sandy, Kim and

13. Chapter Meeting and Tea
at Gordon Roberts House

12 sisters gathered for the March meeting
followed by tea service and tour of the house
with volunteers from the Historical Society.

Lindsay Lindsay welcomed us.
Michelle Saville delivered an inspiring message
and gave us all a box.
Sue Morgan is the current president of the
Historical Society.

• Nita Scott, DKG Executive Director, urged the 125
participants to explore possibilities for membership.

19. VOLUNTEER WORK
Sisters has been volunteering on Tuesdays at
Westernport Elementary School.
We provided teachers with fruits and donuts
in April.
In May, during Teacher Appreciation Week,
each teacher was given a “Worth It” box.
