When a vendor joins an interested vendor list
for a particular health fair, they can choose
between a basic listing (free) or a premium
listing (paid); they select how they show
up/stand out to the host on the interested list
of vendors.
So, vendors have two options when joining the
list of interested vendors for a health fair. If a
vendor goes with a premium listing, it
increases their chance of selection and they
only pay if they’re selected, so it’s risk-free for
them. And just so you know, over 80% of
vendors don’t pay and get into health fairs for
FREE. HFC makes very little revenue per health
fair, yet still provide a ton of value to the host
and vendor. Tech is awesome!!

Premium listings are frequently used by
vendors in highly competitive service
categories (i.e. chiropractor, banking,
dental) as it’s a way for vendors to stand
out among their fellow competitors.
For example, in saturated metro areas, in
some cases, 10+ chiropractors will join the
interested vendor list for one health fair.
Those who value the opportunity the most
will go with the premium listing to increase
their chances of selection.
Rarely, do we see yoga studios, healthy food
delivery options, fitness boot camps, and
like vendors go with premium listings.

All hosts have to do is copy and

receive an email on how to get

received the invite email? Tell them to
check their spam if they said they did not.
Let them know to also add
hosts@healthfairconnections.com to
their contacts so they don’t miss another
email. You can let them know via your
work or personal email if this is worrying

10-12 days after listing your health fair,
you’ll receive an email with this tip. We
share valuable tips to hosts throughout the

If that’s not enough, HFC also
threatens to enforce a $50 no-show
fee if a vendor happens to not show
up.
And, even if those two things don’t
work, we list the vendors rep name
and cell phone on the health fair
event details sheet the host receives

  • 7. RESULTS 7 The new model allowed HFC to rapidly expand its ecosystem of corporations and vendors. 2016 stats: ● 265 health fairs ● Nearly 4000 vendors In addition, HFC has began to establish strongholds in states like Florida, Texas, California, New York, and Illinois.
  • 8. THE BIGGEST, MOST NOTABLE CHANGE IS THAT HFC NO LONGER SELLS BOOTH SPACES TO VENDORS WHO WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN HEALTH FAIRS 8
  • 9. HOSTS LIST THEIR HEALTH FAIRS. VENDORS WITHIN A 35 MILE RADIUS ARE NOTIFIED. 9 It takes 2-3 minutes for hosts to list their health fairs on HFC. Once a health fair is listed, surrounding health fair vendors are notified to throw their hat in to be considered by the hosts
  • 10. VENDORS NOW EXPRESS INTEREST TO GO ON AN INTERESTED VENDORS LIST FOR HOSTS TO SELECT FROM 10 Now, vendors express interest in health fairs to join the list of interested vendors to be considered by health fair hosts. Vendors are either accepted or denied.
  • 11. HOSTS CHOOSES THEIR VENDORS OFF THE INTERESTED LIST AND HAS FULL CONTROL OF WHICH VENDORS ATTEND THEIR HEALTH FAIR 11
  • 12. AGAIN, HOSTS PICK VENDORS OFF THE INTERESTED VENDORS LIST INSIDE THEIR DASHBOARD 12 It’s completely up to health fair hosts as to which vendors participate in their health fair(s). With the old model, vendors would buy booths and be locked in the health fair, without giving the host full control.

VENDORS HAVE A CHOICE WHETHER TO PAY OR NOT 16 When a vendor joins an interested vendor list for a particular health fair, they can choose between a basic listing (free) or a premium listing (paid); they select how they show up/stand out to the host on the interested list of vendors. So, vendors have two options when joining the list of interested vendors for a health fair. If a vendor goes with a premium listing, it increases their chance of selection and they only pay if they’re selected, so it’s risk-free for them. And just so you know, over 80% of vendors don’t pay and get into health fairs for FREE. HFC makes very little revenue per health fair, yet still provide a ton of value to the host and vendor.   • 17. AESTHETIC DIFFERENCES 17 As you can see, the premium listing helps vendors stand out more and allows vendors to provide more information for the host to see when the host is making their selection Basic Listing Premium Listing

ADDITIONAL INFO ON PREMIUM 18 Premium listings are frequently used by vendors in highly competitive service categories (i.e. chiropractor, banking, dental) as it’s a way for vendors to stand out among their fellow competitors. For example, in saturated metro areas, in some cases, 10+ chiropractors will join the interested vendor list for one health fair. Those who value the opportunity the most will go with the premium listing to increase their chances of selection. Rarely, do we see yoga studios, healthy food delivery options, fitness boot camps, and like vendors go with premium listings.

Let them know to also add hosts@healthfairconnections.com to their contacts so they don’t miss another email. You can let them know via your work or personal email if this is worrying you. 10-12 days after listing your health fair, you’ll receive an email with this tip. TWO NEW BOXES ON THE OVERVIEW PAGE LET HOSTS KNOW THE STATUS OF THEIR VENDORS 43 On the dashboard overview, HFC now shows health fair hosts how many vendors are waiting to be responded to (which means, either accepted or denied in the health fair). HFC also lets hosts know how many booths they have left to fill for their health fair.

Upload an Excel File Once a host copies and paste or uploads a past Excel file of vendors, they’ll be able to send personal invitations to directly register for the health fair.

Cool, huh? Question we asked host: Have you ever had a vendor call you and tell you they don’t know how to use the internet? What about from time to time do you so happen to speak to a potential health fair vendor and want to save them the trouble? Now, HFC provides hosts a way to manually register vendors for their health fair.

What about receive reminder emails?

HFC also displays a confirm button on the health fairs they’ve registered for. If that’s not enough, HFC also threatens to enforce a $50 no-show fee if a vendor happens to not show up. And, even if those two things don’t work, we list the vendors rep name and cell phone on the health fair event details sheet the host receives 3 days before the health fair.
