Yung-Ting Chen is a PhD candidate at National Chengchi University studying library and information science. Her research focuses on three areas related to social aspects of reading behavior: 1) assessing performance in social reading environments, 2) analyzing social reading behaviors, and 3) using brain wave monitors to analyze reading behaviors. She aims to understand how social reading environments and gamification can impact performance and awareness, as well as explore patterns of individual and group reading behaviors. Her work applies technologies like brain wave monitors to provide new insights into how social interactions influence learning while reading.
