I am seeking opportunities that will match my skills and experience. I graduated from
the UC Santa Barbara where I majored in Asian Studies. For more than a decade, I lived in
Japan and Thailand. I have also learned Spanish and Burmese along the way. The following is
my employment history as a translator/interpreter. Some assignments were part time, others
full time.
Translating and Interpreting Experience (2009-2016)
 (2009-2010) At a real estate agency, KOZO, in Bangkok, I managed apartments and translated
tenant leases. I also translated legal documents that dealt with proposals and contracts for building
a monorail in Manila. (in Thailand)
 (2009) At Ace Software, I performed translation of game instructions. (Thailand)
 (2010-2011) At DIVA, I did translation of cosmetic products. In addition, I instructed Thai
employees in English and Japanese. (Thailand)
 (2010-2012) At Global Translation, I did both English/Japanese translation as well as translation
from Thai. In addition I worked in the Thai court system, interpreting among the three languages. I
also transcribed courtroom dialogues. I did phone interviews to evaluate prospective employees’
language proficiency. (Thailand)
 (2011) At Fuji TV, a major Japanese channel, I was an interpreter at Amata Springs Golf
Tournament between the media and the players and coordinated scheduling. (Thailand)
 (2012) I served as an interpreter for THM at a professional televised soccer game with a Japanese
team playing a Thai team. I also provided color for the broadcast. (Thailand)
 (2011-2012) At MSIG in Thailand I was a translator and interpreter between Japanese Insurance
company and locals. I worked with adjusters, safety and logistics personnel and consultants here
and translated documents dealing with scope of payments for damaged buildings, contracts and
business letters between the insured, insurers and sub-insurers. (Thailand)
 (May 2012 - present) I have been translating and interpreting for various companies including
Interpreters Unlimited and Nexon (for an audit) among others on an ongoing basis.
