Blood pressure & Its Prosthodontic Implication Self employed
This document discusses blood pressure considerations for prosthodontic treatments. It begins by defining hypertension and classifying blood pressure levels. It then covers dental management strategies for patients with hypertension, including only providing conservative treatment for those with poorly controlled high blood pressure. Procedures requiring antibiotic prophylaxis are outlined, as well as implications of medications like NSAIDs and local anesthetics containing vasoconstrictors. Overall, the document provides guidance for prosthodontists on evaluating and treating patients with varying levels of hypertension.
Hierarchical planning - process that translates annual business & marketing plans & demand forecasts into a production plan for a product family (products that share similar characteristics) in a plant or facility leading to the Aggregate Production Plan (APP)
Planning horizon of APP is at least one year & is usually rolled forward by three months every quarter
Includes costs relevant to the aggregate planning decision include inventory, setup, machine operation, hiring, firing, training, & overtime costs
The document discusses the use of props and visual elements in a film scene to convey meanings and suggestions about a character's mental health and situation. Specifically, layered shots of memories, medication, an alarm clock, and doctor's form suggest the character is experiencing hallucinations and has mental health issues. Dark lighting, a sinister masked kidnapper, and a setting in front of a tunnel add mysterious and uneasy tones that imply danger and a lack of escape or clarity about what is real.
The document discusses how the student's media products for a horror film challenge conventions through their use of genre tropes and inspiration from other horror works. Research was conducted on films with similar themes of split personalities. Inspiration was taken from films like Jekyll and Hyde for the narrative, camera techniques from Horns, and sound design from Oculus. Conventions of trailers, posters and magazines were also considered to make the media products as realistic as possible.
This magazine issue previews 30 new movies including Sinister 2, The Wolf Man, and 10 Cloverfield Lane. It features interviews and reviews for these upcoming films as well as a special look at Jack facing his demons in The Devil in My Head. This is also the 25th birthday issue of the world's biggest movie magazine available on September 16th for £3.99.
The document discusses testing different fonts for a film teaser trailer and poster. Two initial fonts were tried but did not suit the horror genre. A third font called "The typing od a madmen" was downloaded from dafont.com and resembled devilish scratchings, with better readability. This font was then applied to the film poster to maintain a consistent brand image across marketing materials. The new font better complemented the central image on the poster.
The document describes editing work done on day 2. It discusses using color correction tools to darken and make fake blood look more realistic. Screenshots show the blood appearing deeper red after color correction. It also explains how multiple short clips of a character rubbing his head were overlaid and had their opacity adjusted to make the movement more obvious and give the impression he was "going mental."

The document describes the process of creating an opening title sequence or "ident" for a student horror film project. The student chose to use Final Cut Pro software and selected an "ink splats" animation template that could be customized. They changed the title to "RED KAM" representing their group's initials. Colors and fonts were adjusted to have a dark, bloody look matching the horror genre. Sound effects were also selected and layered, including a drone sound, water drip, flutter, and impact metal, to create a spooky atmosphere for the ident.
Film posters are a form of promotion that catch people's eyes in various public places. They usually contain the film's main image, title, director/producers, and main actors to attract audiences. Other common elements are taglines, quotes, awards/nominations, and indications of genre. Effective posters match these elements to the film's themes through images, fonts, colors and other design features. This document discusses these poster elements and provides examples to illustrate how they promote films.
The magazine cover uses various design elements to grab attention and promote its content. Large, colorful fonts advertise the key stories on sex at age 40 and 39 new films. The masthead is edited with flames to match the theme of the featured film, Sweeney Todd. A central image of Johnny Depp prominently displays the main attraction of the issue. Additional text, colors, and placements of elements like the barcode and price are intentionally unusual to attract notice among other magazine features.
The document discusses several typical features found on magazine covers:
- The masthead at the top indicates the magazine title and reflects the intended audience.
- The central image usually features the main actor from a film and reflects both the audience and theme.
- Buzz words like "free" and "exclusive" capture readers' attention to encourage purchasing.
- Overlapping text provides a quote from an inside interview to hint at the story.
The document discusses the technologies and equipment used to create a media product opening sequence. It describes using a tripod for steady shots and changing camera heights. An iPad was used to record high quality voiceovers that could easily be uploaded to a Mac. A camera was used to film shots and allowed reviewing footage. Final Cut Pro on the Mac was key for editing, adding effects and transitions. Tools like the timeline, blade tool, and stabilization helped produce a professional product. Google, YouTube, and other websites supported research, planning, feedback, and finding free music.
