The logo of Church Women United features a circle with an exploding sun at its center, representing Jesus as the source of enlightenment. The dynamic rays symbolize movement, action, and power as God's people draw strength from the source and serve in the world. The texture of the rays represents the qualities Christian women can contribute. Though from diverse backgrounds, the women of CWU unite in a way that provides fullness to society.

1. CWU LOGO
The logo of Church women United is a circle
with the exploding sun at the center. The rays
suggest the dynamic force, vitality and life of
the sun as our source of light and from Jesus,
the son, our source of enlightenment. The
rays indicate movement, action and power; a
coming and going as God’s people return to
the source for strength and then go out into
the world in mission. The texture and richness
of the rays symbolize the qualities Christian
women can contribute. Constituent parts are
woven together. So it is that in Church Women
United women from diverse backgrounds
unite in a way that provides fullness in a plu-
ralistic and changing society.
