3. Critical Dates
We have outlined the critical start dates and duration of each phase of the Member
Candidate Program.
The MANDATORY dates are outlined as follows. Please be sure to make yourself available on
all of the following dates:
● Lions Core Training (LCT) Start Date is Wednesday, September 24th, 2014,
● Lions Core Training Program an ‘All Day’ event will be held on a Saturday or Sunday
November 8th, 9th, 15th or 16th, 2014
● Life Path Program (LPP) Start Date is Wednesday, November 19th, 2014,
● Life Path Intensive (LPI) our ‘Three-day Weekend’ retreat on February, 20th to
the 22nd, 2015.
Throughout this process we will be building a greater level of trust with one another. To
build that trust we believe it's necessary to begin with a mutual understanding of what we
should expect from one another.

4. Program Description - Lions Core Training Overview
This Training program is delivered on a weekly basis (Time to be agreed upon by the Member
candidates) for 6 consecutive weeks. The training program culminates in an 8 hour event
that is full of activities that are specifically designed by the Member Candidate team with the
help of the Program Facilitators.
This program is an Introduction to;
● The culture, Vision and Purpose of the LC
● The language and terminology of the LC
● Core Leadership technology (e.g. CPR)
During this Program you will learn;
● How to Trust a Man yourself and other Men
● How to rely on yourself and other Men
● How to Lead and Follow
● How to work collectively with other Men to achieve a shared Purpose
● Project Management, Facilitation and Presentation skills
● Effective Leadership Skills
