The Boys and Girls Club of Palacios is hosting its 15th Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration and Fundraiser on May 3, 2014. The event will include a BBQ cook-off, golf tournament, food and art/craft booths, carnival games, and more. Vendors can rent booth space starting at $35 for the first booth. Vendors must follow rules like only selling approved food/drink items and being set up by 8am. No bottled water, soda, chips, or BBQ sandwiches can be sold as the Boys and Girls Club will sell those items exclusively.

2014Vendor Rules and Regulations
1. REGISTRATION
All vendors must be registered and set up by Saturday, May 3rdby 8:00 a.m. Operating Hours will
Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Vendors who pre-registered by Friday May 2nd,can avoid late
registration f ee$10.00
2. BOOTH SPACE
All Booth spaces are 10’x 20’. Vendors are responsible for their own tents and tables. Vendors may
set up anytime Saturday morning but must be completely set up by 8:00 am Saturday morning. Vendor shall
not allow any other person or group to sell out of its space. Only one vendor per booth. No sub-letting
permitted.
3. FESTIVAL COMMITTEE
The festival committee shall have exclusive power to shut down any part of the Vendor’s both if, in the
opinion of the committee see it to be out of character or harmful. If such action is taken by the committee, the
vendor is not entitled to any refund or there part of.
4. ARTS & CRAFT BOOTHS
The vendor agrees that it will only have appropriate goods for sale; with the understanding that no
explosive objects, fireworks, material deemed objectionable or pornographic by the festival committee and no
counterfeit or illegal merchandise may be sold.
5. FOOD BOOTHS
All food vendors must abide by the rules and regulations laid out by the Matagorda County
Environmental Health. Vendors are allowed to sell snow cones, slushies, iced tea, lemonade, and
consumables of that nature are welcomed. The vendor must make these items; they cannot be canned or
bottled items.
Vendors will not be allowed to sell any of the following:BBQ Brisket sandwiches,
pickles, chips, candy, bottled water, or soda. No one else can sell these items;these items will be
sold only by the Boys & Girls Club of Palacios.
6. AGREEMENT
This agreement shall be constructed under the laws of the State of Texas, and it shall be binding upon
the heirs, executors, successors, and assigns of the Parties. Further, exclusive venue for suit shall be in
Matagorda County, Texas.
If any provisions of this contract and agreement shall be illegal, inoperative, or ineffective for any
reason, then it is the intention of the parties that such provisions shall not affect the other operative and valid
provisions and that said remaining provisions is fully operative and effective for all purposes.
