The document summarizes a proposed mobile application called "Teach Me" that is being developed by iProxEntity to help forgetful students. The app would allow students to communicate with teachers outside of school hours for homework help, check bus schedules so they don't miss the bus, view their class timetables, and see what books teachers have to ensure students don't forget materials. Market research found most students would pay for and use such an app. The app is designed to be simple and clear for both students and teachers to use.

2. TEACH ME:
Who? Students
What? Students need in school time
When? Out of school hours
Where? Bus Stop, home
Why? If your forgetful or need help
with work.
3. People may not know what time the bus arrives at their stop so
they may miss the bus but with this app they will be on time.
If a pupil is stuck on their homework or are nervous to speak to a
teacher they can speak to them on the chat on the app. They can
only speak to teachers.
The pupil may be clumsy and forget their timetable but they will
be able to check on their phone, the thing they go on the most.
A student could forget their book, if they think the teacher has it
but if they check on the app they can see the books the teachers
have and the books they have at home.
They can also find out what homework they got and didn’t get so
they don’t forget to do it.
4. Teacher advice: How can you get help outside of school? How
can I catch up when I've missed a lesson?
Bus Times: How can I not miss the bus?
Homework: How can I always remember my homework so I
don’t get a detention?
Timetable: How can I not miss a lesson or forget what I have?
Books: How can I never forget my book again?
5. Our app, Teach me, helps people remember their homework and ask
teachers for help if they don't understand. This could stop pupils
getting detentions if they can ask teachers before they go into
lessons.
Also the app reminds you of bus times and when your bus will get to
your stop. You can find your timetable and won’t be late for lessons
helping you and your teacher run the lesson smoothlu
6. Our team, iProxEntity, is developing a mobile application to help
pupils at school who are forgetful. It’s to help those who will forget
homework, buses, lessons and what their doing in school.
7. 5/6 people said they would pay £1 or more for the app. Most
said they would use the app and that is why we are using it.
8. We have looked on the google play store and the apple store and on
both couldn’t find anything similar to this one. The other two we could
find something similar. So we have chosen the correct application to
do.
9. The core features of our app is that you can speak to teachers out of
school, so they can help you. Another key feature is it reminds you
what homework you have left to do and when its due for.
10. It will have about 10 screens and you click buttons on the homepage
to get to each slide. Our feedback didn’t really give us anything to
improve on apart from make it cheaper.
11. One of our main features is to talk to teachers. This is really
helpful as students who have been off can be told what to do
at home and don’t have to go to the teacher if their nervous
or worried what the teacher might say.
12. If you get the bus but miss it a lot because you get up late or you get a
late bus because you don’t know the earlier buses this app helps. You
get all the times of all the buses that go to your school.
13. You get all the homework's you have missed or if you’ve forgot you’ve
had homework this app will help you remember. It is even more
helpful if you’ve lost your homework journal and can’t write it down
but can look on your phone.
14. The data has to be clear and we think ours is neat and clear.
The content is easy for students and teachers to use,
especially if their not use to phones with apps. Our app isn’t
going to be top of the range technical as it needs to be simple
for everyone to use, from children to adults.
What is the background situation you are addressing? Describe the context users are experiencing.Example: BuzzerBuddiez: Who? Students What? Students are studying for exams When? 7am Where? Student dorm Why? Late night cramming, student likely to oversleep
What specific problem do people encounter in that situation? Use the results from your user researchExamples: BuzzerBuddiez: your alarm does not work and you are thus late for: school, work, exams, doctor etc Transit: Many parents don’t speak English and their children have to translate the feedback that a teacher provides. When the feedback is negative students mistranslate. Oyster on the Go: You don’t remember how much money you have left on your pay-as-you-go Oyster card and run out of credit when you urgently need to get on a train Cattle Manager: You need to run backwards and forwards between the office and your cows, taking notes on paper and wasting time or loosing notes
What core question are you addressing with the app? Examples: BuzzerBuddiez: how can you avoid oversleeping? Transit: how can negative teacher feedback be translated accurately? Oyster on the Go: how can you be more aware of how much credit you still have on your Oyster card? Cattle Manager: how can you keep track of injections for your cows while you are out and about looking after them?
To introduce the judges to your team and the product, include your final min elevator pitch here.Example: - Buzzer Buddiez: Our team, [Buzzer Buddiez], is developing [a mobile app] to help [students] [who have studied late and are likely to oversleep because they hit snooze on their alarm clock] [to wake up on time with the help from friends and family]
